After the completion of the course you may join the firms. The skills required for interior designers are creativity, drawing skills, problem solving skills, basic architecture, designing skills etc.

Firstly MPSC exam is divided into three stages namely prelims, mains and interview,

in prelims there are two papers such as general studies carrying 100 questions for 200 marks such as current events of state, national and international importance, history of India specially in relation to Maharashtra, and Indian National Movement, Polity and Governance, Economic and Social Development, geography of Maharashtra, India and the World, General Science, General Issues on Biodiversity, Environmental Ecology & Climate Change, etc.

and civil service aptitude test carrying 80 questions for 200 marks, each paper is conducted for two hours, the syllabus consists of

Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, Logical reasoning and analytical ability, Decision-making and problem-solving, General mental ability, Basic numeracy & Data Interpretation (charts, graphs, data sufficiency, tables etc, upto Class X level, Marathi and English language comprehension skills based on Class X/XII level,

negative marks is applicable, as in terms of deduction of 1/3rd marks for each wrong attempt,

next comes Mains having six papers such as

  • marathi or english as paper 1/2 carrying 100 marks, paper 1 is for three hours and paper 2 is for one hour, paper 1 has essay writing on marathi , translation from english to marathi, precis writing carrying 50 marks, and essay writing on english, translation from marathi to english, precis writing for 50 marks, paper 2 is grammar and comprehension of marathi & english pertaining to idioms, phrases, synonyms, antonyms, formation of words and sentences etc,
