Hello,
Environmental ethics is the part of environmental philosophy which considers extending the traditional boundaries of ethics from solely including humans to including the nonhuman world Environmental issues are basically societal issues.
We need the environmental ethics because environmental ethics builds on scientific understanding by bringing human values, moral principles, and improved decision making into conversation with science. So it's our major concern for our society also.
All the best.
what is environmental ethics why do we need a set of ethics for the environment explain in 150 words
Environmental ethics are a set of rules or believes which are put forward to humans in order to save the life of plants and animals from the ruthless nature of humans, to be very honest. These are the philosophical and traditional boundaries of ethics to teach humans to value non- human life. It is important to set these ethics so as to teach humans that plant and animal lives are all the more important apart from their own life. They are important part of the Earth too and needs to treated with care and require conservation. They should be not used for greedy wants of human and should be used sustainably, so as to lead a balanced life on Earth and leave a better Earth for our future generations.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
what is environment ethics why do we need a set of ethics for the environment
Environmental ethics is important since human beings should be at the service of nature now. In today's era, all natural resources are polluted causing natural disasters. Humans got lazy by using advanced technology and consuming resources as much as they needed. To avoid future disasters, now humans must be more alert and work to save it. Planting is the key factor as forests and vegetation are being depleted.
If we start to value the environment as our home, then it will also give it many natural conditions. Nature maintains homeostasis that is sustained by its elements. If we remove it and contaminate it, the balance will be broken and disasters will occur.
I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
