You can practice answer writing for GS or even optional for that matter only if your knowledge base is strong enough, for example you cannot write answer about any topic or say government scheme which you're not well acquainted with, the three important parts of answer writing are introduction,
There is no particular standards set for evaluation of the paper. they are not even neutral.
The evaluation is done on hand writing and not on the content basis of answer sheet
The evaluator has to check 120 answer sheets per day given 8 hours a day so it means

This year there is no board examinations. So only KCET
