universities in germany which teach courses in english langauge and which are free of cost(universities which are free of cost do not charge anything for the course).

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Oct, 2019

Dear Dhanush, unfortunately such Universities do not exist. Based on your merit, scholarships will be provided and that will at times take care of the tution fees. But for that, as mentioned you need to have an impeccable academic record. Germany is one of the countries in the world with best teaching facilites and education programmes. But they do not teach the International students for free of cost without a merit academic performance.

Dear Dhanush, You haven't mentioned the course which you are enquiring about. Neverthless,  unfortunately such Universities do not exist. For Ph.D students in Germany, the tution fees can be covered in the form of scholarships. And Germany is an European country. To study in that country, you need to have learned German as it is one of the requisites for staying and studying in Germany.

hey, actually I wanna study in Germany my hsc so what r the requirement for that? n how can I get scholarship??

Apurva anand 9th Oct, 2019

Hello Sakshi, Well, getting admission in abroad is pretty easy but only if you know the correct process. You need to prepare in advance for the application process and start getting your documents together for the application because applying abroad requires many documents. You require your 10th and 12th marks card, Statement of purpose in which you have to explain why you want to study that course in that particular college, letter of recommendation by your teacher, Co-curricular achievements and other things. The admission process typically starts during october-november. You also need an english proficiency test like TOEFL/IELTS to prove your english proficiency. Talking about the scholarship part, you might get scholarship but it totally depends on the college you are applying because some colleges provide scholarship to international students while others don't. Though english-taught courses are very limited in numbers at bachelor's level, so you might want to look for a better study destinations for your bachelor's course.

Which exam I have to give to do m.tech in Germany or France?

Ronak Gala Student Expert 9th Oct, 2019

The higher education system in Germany offers something for all students. Germany has approximately 450 universities accredited by the state and there are 17,500 programmes for degrees in the country. Almost every subject is catered by the universities at all academic levels. International students can study for their bachelors’, masters’ or even doctorates. Although most universities focus on scientific studies, it is possible to study art subjects at the top universities.

There are two taught programs in Germany.

  1. German Taught Program

    1. German language up to C1 level is compulsory
    2. Minimum 50% is required in bachelors to get into a German language course in a public university.
  2. English Taught Program

    1. IELTS/Tofel is required
    2. German language not necessary
    3. Minimum 80% is required in bachelors to get into an English language course in a public university.

Apart from minimum percentage criteria, German universities have many other requirements also. So you will need to check the requirements for your preferred course in the chosen university.

Basic requirements to study MS in Germany:

• You must have completed your bachelor's degree from a recognised university either in Germany or India. In case your certificate or diploma is not recognized, you should get it verified for comparison to a German diploma in order to gain access to higher education in Germany.

• You should have above 75% or 7.5 cgpa as the case may be to get admitted in a recognised university. Some universities also accept below 75% also. You must know German language upto C1 level. Some universities require up to B1, but C1 gives you the proficiency to converse well in the language.

•You will have to take TOEFL/IELTS for all the courses taught in English. Further, some courses might also require you to take up the GRE as well. I would recommend to give these exams as early as possible as if you don't get required marks, you can give it a second attempt.

• University may ask for a Statement of Purpose or a Letter of motivation. Try to start roughly jotting down some key points and start fine tuning and editing them early till you arrive at something you are satisfied with. Focus briefly on what you have done, what your career goals are and what motivates you to choose this path of studying. You should know these things.

•Try to get to know the specific requirements of the university for your preferred course. You can get the information on the website of the university or try contacting any counselor for the same.

Can I apply for MBA in Poland, Germany and london without GMAT score but I do clear IELTS exam is it possible or not ?

Siddhant Student Expert 4th Oct, 2019

Dear aspirant ,

In some colleges and universities for MBA , a student applying for MBA outside the country have to give GMAT exam . Students applying for MBA in England have to give GMAT exam , it is compulsory . However , there are some universities in England in which it is not compulsory to give GMAT exam  instead of it students having a work experience for more than 2 years can apply directly for MBA program . In Germany most universities accept TOEFL score and not GMAT score , there are universities which accept both TOEFL and GMAT score .  In Poland all types of entrance exams are accepted like TOEFL , IELTS and GMAT . So  for betterment of you , you should first choose a country for which you want to study MBA and then second look at the eligibility criteria at different universities and according to that give a appropriate entrance exam . Also you can do is that choose a university of that country and then check which entrance exams for MBA they accept .

Hope it helps.

hi Im doing graduation in Delhi University. and learning German language. i want to do masters in Germany. please guide about ielts exam?

Shivam bhardwaj Student Expert 12th Nov, 2019
Hello Bhanu,
Hope you are doing well.
IELTSis an English language exam that is required to be taken by international candidates considering studying or working in a country where English is the main language of communication. Most popular countries where IELTS is accepted for university admissions are the UK,Australia,New Zealand,USA, andCanada. The exam mainly measures the ability of test-takers to communicate in the four basic English language skills listening, reading, speaking, and writing. IELTS exam is jointly owned and conducted by IDP Education Australia, British Council, and Cambridge English Language Assessment.
IELTS 2019 exam is required for migration as well as academic purpose abroad in English speaking countries like Australia, UK, New Zealand, USA, and Canada. It is the only English Language Test approved by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) for visa applicants applying both outside and inside the UK. A lot of students get confused about why are the IELTS scores required. The simple answer to this is that foreign universities and visa granting authorities need to be sure that you will not have communication issues while staying in the country. You need to show agood understanding and strong command of the English language and that is why your overall IELTS scores are so important. Another common doubt students have is whether IELTS is acompulsory exam or not. No, IELTS isnt compulsory in all university admissions. Many universities might not even require IELTS scores for admission purposes. But remember that if you dont give IELTS, your chances of getting the student visa might suffer as the visa officers may not be convinced about your English proficiency without IELTS scores. So it is safer to appear for IELTS and aim to score at least 6 bands overall.

You can take the IELTS exam with the British Council or IDP up to once a week (four times a month). The British Council and IDP global schedule for test datesare 48 days per year.

IELTS Eligibility:
IELTS can be taken by anyone irrespective of age, gender, race, nationality or religion, however, the IELTS test is not recommended for those under 16 years of age.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck
