Koustav Dey 31st Mar, 2021

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for NEET 2021 is

  • The applying candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.
  • Candidates need to have secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate in PCB subjects in class 12. The minimum marks required for SC/ST/OBC candidates are 40%

If you are general candidate then you need to score 150/300 in combining PCB marks in class 12. since,  you have secured more than  minimum required marks so you can give NEET 2021.

But, to get admission in AIIMS you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria of AIIMS. If you are general or OBC candidate then to get admission in AIIMS you need to have minimum 60% marks in aggregate in class 12. But, if you are SC/ST candidate then the minimum marks required will be 50%.

good luck!

Gujarat Board theory marks 100 and practical marks 50 so total 150. in AIIMS admission aggregate 60% so which marks considering during admission 150 ya only theory(100)...?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 31st Mar, 2021

Hello,

If your query is regarding AIIMS MBBS then the admission in to AIIMS is based on NEET UG entrance examination. To get admission in to AIIMS you must appear for NEET UG and qualify in it. You also have to fulfill the NEET UG eligibility criteria to appear for NEET UG.

Here is the eligibility criteria to appear for NEET UG

  • A candidate must have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English from a recognised board.
  • Candidates must score minimum 50% aggregate marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry if they belong to general category, if they belong to SC/ST/OBC they must score minimum 40% aggregate marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry and if they belong to PWD category they must score minimum 45% aggregate marks in Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The marks scored in theory exam and practical exam are considered to calculate the aggregate in Biology, Physics and Chemistry taken together.
  • The minimum age must be minimum 17 years as on December 31 in the year of the exam the candidate is appearing for.

So to determine your eligibility you need to calculate the marks scord in Biology, Physics and Chemistry taken together in theory and practical exam as well.

ayanmukherjee045 9th Feb, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you said that you have failed in all three subjects and as we all know due to the pandemic many exams were delayed in 2020 and so you are giving your re exam in the year 2021. So , as per the new syllabus you have to answer your paper on the basis of new reduced syllabus as per the ncert textbooks.

I passed all subject except physics and chemistry in 2020 so in 2021 I need to give all subject exam or only 2 subjects exam Im in Gujarat board and there were two options that 1)give all subject exam or 2) give only failed subject exam? what should I do? my Allen sir told me give all subject exam

suchayitaanusaha 4th Feb, 2021

Hello,

Every board have different rule. Like CBSE declare that if candidate pass English and 4 others subject then he or she will pass. West Bengal board declare that best of five subject for 12th so if any one failed in one subject it will be automatically deducted as a sixth subject. But in these case you are failed in two subjects then you have to give the examination. But you can give only your failed subjects examination its not compulsory that you have to give all subjects examination. But once you know it from your school teacher infact principal also.

All the best.

Gujarat Board of secondary Education administered the higher education in the in Gujarat.

According to rules of this GBSE who get 33% boss in one subject is taken as a pass marks.

In your question you have mentioned that if the repeater in board examination get 25 marks and above in one subject in re examination he will be allowed as a pass candidate only in that specific subject. So your conception about this is true.

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021

Hey!

You can attempt the exam again and there is nothing such mentioned that you cannot take admission in medical colleges if you have failed once or twice. Even, you can apply for NEET exam to get a good medical college in India for MBBS, once you pass 12th class. To know more, visit here:

Im failed in physics and chemistry in 2020 so in 2021 I have two options 1) give only 2 subjects exam 2) give all subjects exam and I want to addmission in MBBS 2021 so what should I do ??? and Im from Gujarat board. please help me. (and please dont write 50% needed and all I want clear ans)plz

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 30th Jan, 2021

Hi

You can actually go for either of the options i. e giving examination of Physics and Chemistry in which you have failed  or giving examination of all the five subjects.
In both the cases you will be eligible for Neet examination as private candidates are eligible for Neet 2021 i. e those candidates you cannot clear their 12th in the first attempt and then again give 12th examination or only the subject in which they fail  and clear it.

But if in case, if your preparation is good for all the five subjects then I would suggest you to give the examination of all the 5 subjects as it would be  better  as in future you wouldn't have to club both your marksheets everywhere.

And though you are eligible for neet 2021 examination being appearing as a private candidate,  ,  this eligibility is provisional and your eligibility for admission after qualifying neet will depend upon the outcome of your  examination , that is if you will meet Neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

You should have cleared your 12th examination and after clearing it , you must have
-) at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
-) at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category
-)at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of general pwd candidates to be eligible.

For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -

can i get admission in MBBS if i have 12 marksheet from Gujarat board and tc from isc board.or its necessary to have same board tc or lc to get admission in MBBS

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 19th Jan, 2021

hi,

see its seems not correct to having different board marksheet and transfer certificate of another board. since you have passed 12th course from gujrat state board of education, your transfer certificate should be from the same institute from which you have passed 12th course. however in some of the institute tc is not mandatory. so its better to have same tc and marksheet under the same institute.

Parmeshwar Suhag 2nd Jan, 2021

Hey,

There are not so much channels on you tube, which will help you prepare your class 12th in Gujarati. But you will find some, so you can choose anyone as per your convenience. All are good. Now let me tell you that, apart from sudying chapters, the most important part of preparation for the board exams is that, you must solve previous year question papers. This will helps you a lot.

Hope it helps.
