In 2018, rajasthan high court ruled that non-biology students can go for mbbs (neet). Is it possible for a non-biology student to write neet 2021?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd May, 2020
Hi

I am sorry to tell you but Biology is necessary to have to be eligible for NEET examination .
This is because,
NEET eligibility criteria says that to be eligible you must have passed your class 12th board examination with at least a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your class 12th board examination if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories . You should have also passed English in your 12th examination

So, if you haven't studied Biology in 12 th then you are not eligible for NEET examination

Now, if you still want to appear for NEET then you can do your 12th again with Biology from recognised open boards like NIOS to satisy the aforesaid criteria and then you will be eligible for NEET examination.

For detailed information about neet eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below ; -
