As generally all the colleges which are affiliated to some of the universities are in English medium only and hence, the college which you have mentioned that is Ramgarh College is also conducting exams in English language itself but ya for getting a exact data regarding the language you can also contact officially to the mentioned college so that you will be getting clear by all the queries regarding language.

Professorships are the highest degrees after doctoral programs and Masters Program. There are three faculty ranks in Private and Government Universities.
There is no such rank as Senior professor. The salary of a professor varies stream-wise and Sector-wise ( Government or Private).
Academics for history subject are very less in Universities. The average salary of history professor would fall between 60k to 2.5 lakhs per month in private institutions and it may varies depends on how top and deemed the universities is and how many years of experience professor hold.

To become an IAS officer, you have to qualify in the civil services examination conducted by the union public service commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted every year and recruits candidates to IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and so many more of such esteemed credentials. Applications are invited in the beginning of every year (Jan - Feb). There would be a preliminary examination, main examination and an interview. The exam format is as follows
100 questions worth a total of 200 marks are asked from the subjects history, polity, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, economy, current affairs
80 questions worth 200 marks are asked from the subjects mathematics, logical reasoning, reading comprehension etc.
You having a background in science and a graduation in History could only help you in pursuing IAS

The subjects which are included while best 4 or best 3 subjects combination are mentioned in the List A and List B of the Delhi University. Both the lists will be out with the first cut-off of the DELHI UNIVERSITY.
So, basically students need to wait for the first cut-off.
Subjects' marks are added on the basis of one core language and three best academic/elective subjects as mentioned in LIST A and LIST B .
If Students haven't studied the subject at +2 level in which they want to pursue their undergraduate degree, then there will be direct deduction of 01% .
Inclusion of any other subjects other than list A and B in the combination of best three will directly lead to deduction of 2.5 % per subjects included in.
