Akshita Dhiman 9th Jul, 2021
Hi there,

For admissions in Dalhousie University, the minimum eligibility criteria are that a candidate must have a GPA or CGPA of at least 75 percent.
Also, even if a candidate qualifies for the minimum eligibility criteria, it does not always guarantee admission due to extreme competition.

Your CGPA is a little low. Hence, it might be difficult for you to get admission. However, you can still directly contact the respective university program coordinator, the details for which are listed below.

What will be the salary of a history professor with 10-15 years of experience in a government college?

Sai Kiran K 15th Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Professorships are the highest degrees after doctoral programs and Masters Program. There are three faculty ranks in Private and Government Universities.

  • Assistant Professor.
  • Associate Professor.
  • Professor.

There is no such rank as Senior professor. The salary of a professor varies stream-wise and Sector-wise ( Government or Private).

Academics for history subject are very less in Universities. The average salary of history professor would fall between 60k to 2.5 lakhs per month in private institutions and it may varies depends on how top and deemed  the universities is and how many years of experience professor hold.

History professor have fixed pays in government institutions which ranges from 50k - 1 lakhs per month. We cannot predict Exact payscale for history professors. Can I apply for both Integrated MA Political Science and I.MA History? I know I should apply separately and the exams are on the same day, but Can I write entrance exams for both?

Aditi Yadav 15th Aug, 2021
Hey there!

Yes, you can apply for both exam(Integrated MA Political Science and MA History) and give both entrance exam. It doesn't matter that the both entrance exams are on the same day, the time will be different.

So, prepare well and plan accordingly.

Many students apply for different entrance exam for a good backup plan.

I hope this answer helps you.

Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.

Neha Kumari 13th Aug, 2021

Hello there

The subjects which are included while best 4 or best 3 subjects combination are mentioned in the List A and List B of the Delhi University.  Both the lists will be out with the first cut-off of the DELHI UNIVERSITY.

So, basically students need to wait for the first cut-off.

Subjects' marks  are  added on the basis of one core language and three best academic/elective subjects as mentioned in LIST A and LIST B .

If Students haven't studied the  subject at +2 level in which they want to pursue their undergraduate degree, then there will be direct deduction of 01% .

Inclusion of any other subjects other than list A and B in the combination of best three will directly lead to deduction of 2.5 % per subjects included in.

YOU CAN PREDICT YOUR CHANCES OF ADMISSION IN DELHI UNIVERSITY BY USING THE PREDICTOR TOOL :
