I have scored 122 marks in pcb and 90 marks in neet so I have to repeat neet or neet and HSC both

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 21st Nov, 2021

Hi

>>>>>>>>  With 90 marks in NEET 2021, irrespective of the category you belong to

You cannot any medical/dental college be it government or private  and thus if you want to get admission you need to repeat NEET

This is because,

You have failed to qualify neet examination but in order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc even in private colleges for management quota seat or anywhere  you must qualify Neet examination

For your reference,

Neet 2021 qualifying cutoff  for different   categories is given below:-

.                     NEET 2021 CUT OFF

Category     cut off percentile  Cut off marks

General/ EWS     50th                   720-138

General-PH        45th                 137-122

SC                       40th                 137-108

ST                         40th                137-108

OBC                      40th                137-108

SC/ST/OBC-PH   40th               121-108

So,

An obc/sc/st category student requires at least 108 marks, to qualify neet 2021 and for general category at least 138 marks is required to qualify Neet 2021

For detailed information, visit

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

Now that,

You have failed to qualify , I would suggest you to start your preparation for Neet examination again without wasting any time.

Follow the below tips to prepare well for your Neet examination

  • Follow routine to avoid wastage of time

  • Make sure all your studies revolve around reading practicing question and revision

  • Practice is the key, solve MCQs in each chapter

  • Stress and focus more on NCERT especially for biology

  • Solve previous year question paper and mock papers of neet.

And don't worry we have Neet knockout program which will help you at every step of your preparation , the link for the same is given below

https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet

Coming to your eligibility for neet i. e whether you need to give 12th improvement examination or not ,

Which category do you belong to?

*******To be eligible for neet, you need to pass 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Now,

Your aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology is

= 122 marks

=( 122 / 300 x 100 )%

= 40.6% i.e lesser than 50% , but more than 40 % so you are not eligible for Neet if you belong to general category but if you belong to OBC/ SC or St category then yes you are eligible for Neet examination

So,

in case if you belong to general category then you need to give improvement examination so that you can get more than 50% in aggregate of PCB so that you can be eligible for Neet but if you are from OBC SC or St category then you are totally fine with your marks and you don't need to appear for improvement examination

Also,

******** to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old  by 31st December  of the year of appearing

******** There is no upper age limit for Neet as of now.

******** There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.

hello!actually I wanted to ask that right now Im preparing for neet but I have my prelims also so can I just keep my neet study away for only 15 days cover my syllabus of hsc board and then again continue with neet so that for coming other prelims I would only require to revise so please suggest??

samruddhiphadatare01 21st Nov, 2021

Hello,

You can give a break to your neet studies until your exams are over. Because studying for hec means clearing your basics, it'll be better for you. But after exams make a good schedule for neet studies.

If you want to revise a topic in your exam period you can give half an hour per week it it's okay for you.

Hope it helps.

Subhalaxmi Biswal 14th Jan, 2022

Hello Sham,

You are suitable for the course you are interested in. The eligibility norms are as follows

  • should have attained their higher secondary school exam with PCMB subject combination.

  • should have at least a 50% score in the above examination.

  • Some institutes perform their entrance examinations which you need to qualify to be suitable for this course.

It is a degree lesson in the field of Agri and its other methods and operations. The education in this program comprises agricultural techniques and the beneficial performance of contemporary farming methods and appliances in practical applications.

As India’s monetary policies primarily rely on agriculture, candidates can realize the significance of this program and work towards making it more proficient and profitable.

The administration has acknowledged this program as a professional degree program.

There are distinct entrance exams for this course like ICAR AIEEA and BHU UET.

There are also different state-level entrance exams to which the students of that particular state can apply. For example - Rajasthan JET, TS EAMCET for Telangana, AP EAMCET for Andhra Pradesh, UPCATET for UP, OUAT for Odisha, CGPAT for Chattisgarh, KCET for Karnataka, BCECE for Bihar among others,

I hope it helps.

Thank you.
