You should use code 2 if you are reappearing for hsc board.

There are 7 codes which are used for application according to the eligibility status of the candidate.

Code 1 is used by candidates who are appearing for xii board this year and awaiting for the result.


Code 2 woll be applicable for those students who are droppers or reappearing for xii board or NIOS students.


Code  3 - it is applicable for candidates who have passed class xii board.


Code 4 is applicable to those who have completed pre professional or pre medical exam.


Code 5 - Applicable to those students who have passed first year of three years degree program.


Code 6 - The candidates who have passed three years bsc with not less than two subjects including biology / biotechnology .


Code 7 is applicable for foreign candidates.
