Which syllabus has to be followed by the class improvement students for 2021 hsc board exam

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jan, 2021
Hi

Your profile suggests that you are from Maharashtra so I am guessing that you are from Maharashtra Board

You need to follow the Maharashtra board 2020- 2021 syllabus as that of candidates appearing for the 1st time for their boards.

This is because,

When you appear for improvement exam it's not like you give some different exam, the same examination is given by the students who appear for improvement examination and those appear for 12th board examination for the first time or are freshers, the only difference is that when one appears for improvement examination he or she appears as a private candidate and not as regular one and they both give the same examination so the syllabus is also same

You can get the complete syllabus for all the subjects for Maharashtra Board 2021 examination for Class 12th by visiting our page the link for the same is provided below

https://school.careers360.com/articles/maharashtra-hsc-syllabus

This syllabus will be very helpful in your preparation because it will let you know the topics and chapters which are included in your examination , so go well through your syllabus and plan your studies so that you can score well in your examination.

And yes , try to complete your whole syllabus at least a month before of your examination so that you can give your last one month for practicing mock test papers and revision .

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :) we are always available to help you out and guide you

Thank you

12th class 2021 question paper pattern of hsc

Neha Kanwar 15th Jan, 2021

Hello Arun,

The exam pattern of HSC 2021 is different for the various papers. The exam is held in the offline mode and students have to answer very short, short, long and essay type questions.

Each exam is held for 100 marks, wherein 80 marks are alloted to theory and 20 marks to practicals/ oral/ project.

For subjects like biology, geology, physics, chemistry, agriculture science and technology and animal science and technology it is 70 marks for theory and 30 for practical/ oral/ project.

Each student will have to achieve 35% marks in each subject to pass an exam.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

75% criteria for admission in IITs dropped in 2021 also,as same in 2020,is this criteria is olny to take admission in IITs or also applicable for NITs admission?? i got 61.23 % aggregate in HSC 2020 can i get admission in any NITS in 2021 or i have to score 75% by rexam to get eligible

Anurag Khanna 14th Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See in the wake of COVID-19 the Education ministry and Joint Admission Board jointly decided that as of previous year, this year also the 75% relaxation criteria will be provided for admission to IITs through JEE-Advance which means if the candidate is passed in his/her class 12th then also he/she can appear for JEE-Advance and can get admission to IITs, there is no any compulsion for him/her to secure either 75% in boards or be in top 20 percentile of his/her respective board results. But this relaxation is only provided for admission to IITs through JEE-Advance but not for NITs/IIITs/CFTIs through JEE-Main so if you want to get admission in any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs through JEE-Main then it is mandatory to have either 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category or be in top 20 percentile for your respective board's result. And as you have mentioned that you have secured only 61.23% in your Higher Secondary/class 12th exams so you are not eligible for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs through JEE-Main but yes you can appear for JEE-Main and if you qualify it you can appear for JEE-Advance and can get admission to any of the IITs depending upon your rank in JEE-Advance.

For complete details about JEE-Advance and JEE-Main kindly check out the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

as per education minister told yesterday about 75% criteria dropped for IITS admission means the student who have appeard in 2020 and got 62% in HSC can get admission in NITS and IITS. plz confirm me that can i get admission into NITS also or this 75% criteria is drooped only for IITS.

Shubham Dhane 10th Jan, 2021

Hello,

No you cannot get admissions in NITs. The minimum 75% aggerate in your 10+2 level criteria is dropped only for admissions in IITs but it is still at play for admissions in NITs. It means even after qualifying for admissions in NITs through JEE main you won't be eligible for admissions in NITs as your aggerate is 62% in your 10+2 level. You are eligible to give JEE mains but not eligible for admissions in NITs. If you get good score in JEE mains and are eligible to give JEE Advanced and get good rank then you will be eligible for admissions in IITs even though your aggerate is 62% in 10+2 level.
