Hello Arun,
The exam pattern of HSC 2021 is different for the various papers. The exam is held in the offline mode and students have to answer very short, short, long and essay type questions.
Each exam is held for 100 marks, wherein 80 marks are alloted to theory and 20 marks to practicals/ oral/ project.
For subjects like biology, geology, physics, chemistry, agriculture science and technology and animal science and technology it is 70 marks for theory and 30 for practical/ oral/ project.
Each student will have to achieve 35% marks in each subject to pass an exam.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
Hello Aspirant,
See in the wake of COVID-19 the Education ministry and Joint Admission Board jointly decided that as of previous year, this year also the 75% relaxation criteria will be provided for admission to IITs through JEE-Advance which means if the candidate is passed in his/her class 12th then also he/she can appear for JEE-Advance and can get admission to IITs, there is no any compulsion for him/her to secure either 75% in boards or be in top 20 percentile of his/her respective board results. But this relaxation is only provided for admission to IITs through JEE-Advance but not for NITs/IIITs/CFTIs through JEE-Main so if you want to get admission in any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs through JEE-Main then it is mandatory to have either 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category or be in top 20 percentile for your respective board's result. And as you have mentioned that you have secured only 61.23% in your Higher Secondary/class 12th exams so you are not eligible for admission to NITs/IIITs/CFTIs through JEE-Main but yes you can appear for JEE-Main and if you qualify it you can appear for JEE-Advance and can get admission to any of the IITs depending upon your rank in JEE-Advance.
For complete details about JEE-Advance and JEE-Main kindly check out the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello,
No you cannot get admissions in NITs. The minimum 75% aggerate in your 10+2 level criteria is dropped only for admissions in IITs but it is still at play for admissions in NITs. It means even after qualifying for admissions in NITs through JEE main you won't be eligible for admissions in NITs as your aggerate is 62% in your 10+2 level. You are eligible to give JEE mains but not eligible for admissions in NITs. If you get good score in JEE mains and are eligible to give JEE Advanced and get good rank then you will be eligible for admissions in IITs even though your aggerate is 62% in 10+2 level.
