which entrance exam will be easy for bsc ( agriculture) ICAR or any other exam?

Hello,

The duration of exam is 2.5 hours. There will be 150 (50 in each subject) multiple choice questions in total. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect question. The difficulty level of ICAR Entrance examination is slightly lower than NEET exam. The difficulty level of ICAR Entrance examination is slightly lower than NEET exam.

I am student of B.tech final year in Food technology from a non- Icar accrediated University and college . And I am preparing for upcoming Icar pg exam for food technology. Is it possible after qualifying the exam to get into icar accrediated colleges to persue food technology ?

Yes definitely, if you are able to qualify ICAR AIEEA 2021 exam and get a good score then you can pursue Master's from a reputed college. And as you mentioned that you are pursuing UG from a non ICAR accrediated university then it might cause you some trouble during the time of admission.

Study material for animal biotechnology ICAR pg exam?

There are not specific books amd resources available for icar animal biotechnology. You should download previous year question papers and Google the topics, make notes out of them and prepare accordingly.

In ICAR exam ,there is also a biotechnology (B tech ) coarse ,Im confused in engineering btech and bio technology bio stream please clear it , i want to do genetic engineering which coarse options will I mark?

You can go for any of the two ways to join biotechnology course as the eligibility criteria states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 50-60% marks in PCB/M/PCMB subject stream from a recognised board of education.
But,for genetic engineering, b.tech will be more appropriate course. The eligibility criteria for b.tech genetic engineering states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 50% marks in PCB/M from a recognised board of education. B tech will help you more in technicalities.

Hello,

Admission in Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is based on merit for undergraduate courses. Merit based selection means you can apply online and during TNAU counseling, candidates with highest number of marks will get admission as there is no entrance test.

how prepare ICAR ag and bcece exam

ICAR AIEEA 2021

  • Make your study schedule and make sure that you have allotted the equal time for all subjects.
  • You can also give some extra time to your weakest subject.
  • It is very much important to study your all subject topic-wise. Keep focused on the subject which wants the more time and hard work.
  • Revision and practising the subjects is an important part of preparation. The more you practice more will be your chances of cracking the exam.
  • You can make short notes on a daily basis which you have studied. Write all formulas in separate page or copy. Must follow your syllabus books along with some reference books.
  • Take healthy diet and do not take any kind of stress. If you will take a healthy diet, then only you can study with a fresh mind.
  • Go throughly through your Ncert books as well.

BCECE exam

  • The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)  for Agriculture and Horticulture Science courses.
  • The exam will be held in a paper-based test mode (Unless changed by the exam authority.
  • The duration of BCECE BSc paper will be of 1 hour 30 minutes for each paper and, the total duration of the examination will be 4 hours 30 minutes (for one group of three subjects).
  • Clarify concepts from all subjects, make notes and cross-check the syllabus for strengths and weakness.
  • Start taking mock tests, and analyse each topic accordingly. Find out the key improvement areas and, clarify concepts once again and take help of the preparation notes.
  • Do not worry about the unprepared topics, since there will be negative marking and, these topics can create confusions than help you score well.

Hi Aspirant!

ICAR is an organization which approves the agriculture colleges or courses provided by the colleges. And Bsc agriculture from VIT vellore is not approved by ICAR. So, might be you will have less opportunities in future for job or further studies than those by the ICAR approved colleges.

Hey,

University of Agriculture Science (UAS) , Bangalore offers agriculture courses in 8 subjects. The college accepts admission on the basis of merit scored by the candidate in the accepted exams.

The exams accepted by the college are KCET / ICAR AIEEA / ICAR AICE SRF/JRF.

Students should appear in one of these exams and then register at the official website of the college.
