Ive studied 8-10 in icse does study certificate require beo signature

Preetam Bhowmik 25th Nov, 2021

Dear Aspirant, you must get the signature on your study certificate of BEO (Block Education Officer) or DDPI (Deputy Director of Public Instruction) as the study certificate is a letter which states that you have studied in the respective Primary/ Higher Primary/High School for these standards like 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th etc . I hope you are clear now. If you have any other queries feel free to ask. All The Best!!!

i studied in icse 1st to 10th , and i have got study certificate counter signed by beo. i studied 11th and 12th in cbse , do i need to get 12th study certificate also counter signed by beo

Drishti Yadav 2nd Dec, 2021

Hi student, since you already have a certificate counter signed by the Block Education Officer for your class 1st to 10th , there is no need to get another certificate counter signed if you changed your board, if you wish to apply for admissions anywhere the only requirement will be your class 12th marksheet (original) from CBSE. Any university does not ask for BEO certificate, however if you are able to keep a certificate ready , so you may opt for a safer side.

Hello Akshaya!

Class 8 to 12 students are eligible to apply for IQOM. Candidates studying in KVs and JNVs are not eligible to write IOQM 2022. Registration fees is 200 rs per subject.

I hope this clarifies your doubt!

if we fail in math 10th icse additional subject hindi can save us or not

Sudeshna Dutta 1st Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

Dont worry! you are safe untill you are failing in English. How and Why? Read more:

In a historic decision, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has permitted students in Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) to sit for a compartmental test for one subject without having to repeat the academic year.

This is the first time since the board's establishment in 1958 that such a provision has been made for the benefit of the pupils.

Gerry Arathoon, Chief Executive and Secretary of the Council, commented on the new change, saying, "We wanted to offer the students an opportunity to retake the exam, which is why we have enabled them to sit for compartmental examinations starting this year."

However, it is worth noting that both ICSE and ISC students are required to pass the English test in order to be qualified to appear for the compartment examination.
For the compartment test, the ICSE students would need to pass three more courses in addition to English, while the ISC students would need to pass two additional topics. "Only after that can they sit for the compartment test," Arathoon claimed.

Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!

Dear student,

As due to the covid-19 pandemic , and the 3rd wave knocking at the door so it's very difficult to say what would be the situation in the schools

Still in many places , schools have begun to reopen and in many places they haven't opened till date. So, it depends on the state authorities. Cases are increasing and it's above 40k cases in all over India.

which book is best to prepare history and civics for ICSE 10TH STD

Ketaki Dhotre Student Expert 1st Sep, 2021

Dear,

For History/Civics, at first know the syllabus provided by the Council. Buy the book named Syllabus and Regulations. You can refer to Morning Star Publications for a comprehensive study and understanding. Apart from that you have to refer to another book. You may refer to Self Study History and Civics or Together With History and Civics. It's because questions are never based on a single book.

Hope this helps!

how 10th icse 2019 Percentage calculated?

SREYASHI SEN 28th Aug, 2021

Good day Aspirant..

10th icse 2019 Percentage calculation

The following factors would be taken into account by the Board when calculating the grades for the remaining exams:

The average of the candidate's best three percentage marks from the exams in which he or she took part.

[A] Subject internal evaluation: The total marks earned by the candidate as a result of the internal assessment of the papers.

The total of the candidate's marks in the internal evaluation of the paper would be the percentage of the subject's internal assessment. It's important to note that this is the percentage of internal assessment marks. [B]

This would be used in the formula 0.7 A + 0.3 B to calculate the pass percentage. The subject marks will be provided by the formal.

Board Marks Formula: Paper Board Marks Percentage Board Marks Weightage

The weightage for Hindi, Geography, Biology, and Mathematics is 0.8 because the scores are out of 80. Because the board marks for Group III with internal assessment are out of 100, the weightage will be one.

Calculating Paper Final Scores: Paper Final Scores = Paper Board Scores + Paper Internal Assessment.

I hope this information helps.

Regards.
