is there any advantage to pass class 12 from icse? does board matters in jee mains and advance

Anurag Khanna 1st Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See board does not matter when you are going to take admission in any NIT/IIIT/CFTI/IIT because to these institutions for B.Tech course are only made on the basis of JEE-Main or JEE-Advance scores but also note that to qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria but yes if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% in your class 12th if you belongs to General/Unreserved category and 65% if you belongs to any of the reserved category from any central/state recognized board and ICSE is central recognized board. So there will be no advantage of ICSE board in it.

Hi,

You can write in English language as well in the UP Board examination. You need to choose a language while filling the UP Board examination and you can choose English as well. However, the medium of instructions will be given in Hindi medium only so you should try to study in a school where English medium is opted or else you can take admission in CBSE board schools.

sir i have got 48% in 10th ICSE is it possible for physiotherapy

Atrayee Gayen 17th Dec, 2020

Hey aspirant,

Yes, it is possible. Mostly for undergraduate level BPT courses you have to fulfill a minimum requirement of marks in yiur 12th standard.

Candidates must have cleared Class 12 board exams. Minimum Aggregate score of 50% or more should be obtained in the qualifying exam, in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

hope this helps!

all the best!

EQ 23****78 is my 10th board icse marksheet serial number. Should i also have to write prefix in filling examination form?

Shrishty sahu 10th Dec, 2020

Dear student,

You need to write the complete thing. The whole thing is your serial number. Each and every character denotes something and is very important otherwise you will have to face the consequences. For every detail asked about your marksheet you need to write everything, be it numbers or alphabetical letters and in the same manner as written in the marksheet.

i got two marksheet in icse 10th board, one is for marks and second is for grade, and the serial number in both of them are different, so which serial number should i write in filling the form which is needed?

Zeenat Saba 10th Dec, 2020

Hii,

I passed out from the same board CISCE Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations.

So, i believe i can answer your question.

You said it correctly ICSE or ISC board offer 2 marksheet to its every student.

But the main preference goes to the marksheet in which the marks are written not grades.

Grades are just the range which defines your marks comes in which range

Like equal to  above 90 they offer A grade..

For 80 B and like wise .

So, you can fill the serial number accordingly.

Fill in which marks are written because marks one is only going to be considered.

Hope this will help you,

All the very best!!

Should i also have to write prefix which is given in my marksheet serial number such as EQ ******** in filling any entrance examination form which required serial number? There is serial number given at the top left corner of the icse 10th marksheet like this EQ ********

myidshivanisrivastava 10th Dec, 2020

Hello Garima,

Yes, if you are asked to provide the serial number of your marksheets, in any entrance examination form, then you must give the complete serial number of the marksheets.

In case it does not accept the alphabetical prefix(EQ in this case ) and asks to give only numeric values, then you can omit it from your serial number.

Hope this helps you. Feel free to ask more questions.

Have a good day!

In SSC CHSL form , in "State of Board/University" column, I have filled Uttar Pradesh and selected "Others" in the "Name of Board" column since I have passed my 12th from ICSE Board. But today I came to know that ICSE board students should choose Delhi instead of Uttar Pradesh. What should I do now?

Anurag Khanna 18th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See Staff Selection Commission has extended the last date of application to December 19th 2020 and it does not provide correction facility in application form of  SSC CHSL so if any mistake has been done then your form might be rejected so to prevent the rejection I would recommend you to fill up a new application using another E-mail Id and Phone number form before December 19th i.e. tomorrow with all correct details including your photograph and signature if you have submitted the application form and if not then you can edit the same . The application fee is also very minimal which is of Rs. 100/-.

Complete application process for SC CHSL is described below :-

  • You have to fill the registration form very firstly.
  • To register, you will have to enter your basic details.
  • On submission of the registration form, your registration ID and password will be generated.
  • Now you should proceed to upload your photograph and signature. The size of the photograph should be between 4 KB to 20 KB while signature should be 1 KB to 12KB.
  • To fill other details in SSC CHSL application form, you have to login with your password and registration ID which which was obtained in Step 3.
  • After filling the application form, you have to pay your examination fees either online or offline which is only Rs. 100/- but note that for payment last date is December 24th.
  • On successful fee payment, the application process is complete and then you should take printout of SSC CHSL application form.
