Debasmita Barik 17th Jan, 2019

Yes, you can but for that, you need to have the IELTS certificate and qualify that exam. Although IELTS examination sometimes occurs before 12th boards and you have to clear your boards to be declared as qualified in the examination.

So first clear your examinations; apply for IELTS and clear it. In the meantime apple for whichever college in Canada you wish to study by applying through forms on their online sites

I secured 9. 2 CGPA in class 10 exam and 88% in class 12 exam and 6 band in ietls so i will get in lmu munich germany please help me

megha bali 29th Mar, 2019

yes you can apply for the university the admission process for which i am going to discuss below which you can go through in detail however your chances of getting admission mainly depends on the subjects you want to study.

Germany has 13 years of schooling instead of 12 years so you have to take admission in studienkolleg there but to get admission there you will have to clear a language German exam & maths exam for which you have to learn German language also.

This course last for 1 year & then you give the final exam. after this you will be certified as an A-student and you will be eligible for joining the course of your choice.

Then you apply in universities based on that exam & 12th marks they give you admission. If you want to avoid this long process then study 1 year in your home country & then next year apply.

All other details can be taken from the official website http://www.en.uni-muenchen.de.

Will i be having any financial perk if i scored 9 bands?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th Mar, 2019

Dear Aanchal, IELTS is an language Proficiency test taken by Non Native English speakers to either study or work in an English Speaking Country. So your scores are a proof of your sustainability in the country of your choice. With a band of 9, you are considered to have full Operation Command over English. This is a mandate test that you need to take to study or work.abroad. And this is not a test that gives you any financial leverage or benefits.

How to get Medical BDS course admission in abroad like UK canada.without IELTS package details also.

Anmol Vig 10th Jan, 2019

Hi Sabiq. It is difficult to study overseas especially in countries like Canada without IELTS. For student Visa, one needs to score 6.5 ,not less than 6 bands in any . But there is one way to study abroad,  one can apply for student exchange program through one's university / college (if your university/college offers foreign exchange program) . But if your institution doesn't do that, then without IELTS.

Also, IELTS is not valid everywhere. It is valid in canada, Australia and some parts of US. There are different exams for different countries.

I want to work temporarily in canada in an accounting field .which score is required , IELTS or PTE for temporary work residence.

Sonali Upadhyay 17th Feb, 2019

Hello,

Vamshi Vicky

  • As of now, PTE exam is not acceptable for Canadian immigration PR process.

  • IELTS is acceptable.

  • In most countries where English is the main language of communication, evidence of acceptable English language skills is a prerequisite for applicants and international graduates seeking professional registration. Required proficiency levels vary between organizations, professions, by country and by jurisdiction. It is up to individual professional registration bodies to determine the IELTS band score and version of the test (Academic or General Training) they require.

  • IELTS helps to

Assess English language skills at all levels – listening, reading, writing, speaking.

          Communicating for real life context.

  • Purposes of giving IELTS –

          Higher Education

          Work Purposes

          Migration

  • IELTS has two categories –

Academic Training – This is the training for candidates who are giving  he exam to pursue higher education,  or some professional registration.

General Training – This is the training     for the candidates who are giving the    exam for migrating or pursuing. secondary education, or any work experience to Australia, New Zealand,  anada and UK.

The General Training version of IELTS  measures English language  proficiency in a practical, everyday  context and the tasks and texts reflect both workplace and social situations.

This is the version of the test usually required for vocational training, for  example in the construction,   hospitality and leisure, and tourism   industries.

  • If you are applying for a work visa, professional recognition or for permanent residency in Canada, it is likely that you will be required to present evidence of English language proficiency. IELTS General Training is the only internationally available English proficiency test accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for immigration to Canada. To gain a Canadian visa, you will need to demonstrate your English abilities to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

  • All universities and colleges in Canada accept IELTS, as well as all professional associations have set minimum language requirements for professional registration.

Industries accepting IELTS -

• Many of the registration bodies that accept IELTS represent the health care professions, such as nursing, medicine and pharmacy, where English language competence is of critical importance.

• Other professional bodies in particular countries requiring an IELTS result include accounting, engineering, law and veterinarypractice.

• A wide range of other employers from sectors such as finance, government, construction, energy, aviation and tourism also require IELTS.

I hope your queries are solved. If you have any other doubts, feel free to comment.

Good Luck!
