what are the best collages in Andra Pradesh to go to Isro

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 27th Dec, 2020
Hello,

It doesn't matter which college you want to study B.tech, as there is no specific college that can help you to get into ISRO.The process is give below :
The eligibility criteria for ISRO recruitment is as follows:

  • Candidates must have qualified B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualifying degree in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA of 6.84 on a scale of 10.

  • Students in their final year of qualifying degree are also eligible to apply, provided their final degree will be available by July 31 and secure an aggregate of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 on a scale of 10.

ISRO recruits Scientists through ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board(ICRB), an exam conducted every year for the posts of Scientist. Individuals are tested as per their respective branches of engineering and after clearing the interview, one can get appointed as a scientist or an engineer at ISRO.

I hope this helps.

Iam in 10 th I want to become scientist in ISRO after10 but without studing 11 and 12 can I choose polytechnic after 10 ( in which branch of polytechnic ) please help me

DrTeeth 26th Dec, 2020

According to online resourses, ISRO recruits scientists if they have a PhD in astronomy, mathematics, or physics. Along with this, the candidate must hold an engineering degree. You can opt for polytechnic and lateral entry into BTech after that, but lateral entry will close the gates of reputed institutes like NITs and IITs for you. So it will be better to give the JEE after class 12 or after you complete your polytechnic. The recruitment is conducted by the Centralized Recruitment Board. Selection is based on the written exam and interview.

IF I WANT TO BECOME ASTROPHYSICIST AND I GRADUATE FROM IIT, THEN WILL ISRO OFFER ME PAKAGE OF MORE THAN 50 LAKHS ?

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 24th Dec, 2020

Hey

Firstly, even the scientists at ISRO get a salary of around 1 lakh 10 thousand per month so it is impossible for a graduate from IIT (or any istitute) to get a package of more than 50 lakh at isro.

Secondly, to become an astrophysicist at isro you do not have to graduate from iit. You can do a BSc hons in Physics, then a masters and then finally you will have to do a PhD in Astrophysics. Then you will have to apply and if you are seen capable enough only then they will call you for an interview after which they will decide to whether you deserve a spot in or not(they do not go for campussing).

can an ISE student join isro because they have mentioned only cse as cse and ise are same can ise get job in isro

Abhishek Roy 22nd Dec, 2020

Computer Science Engineering and Information Science/ Information Technology are different branches though relatable. ISRO during recruitment clearly mentions the branches which can apply under a given opportunity/position. For example it clearly mentions whether Civil, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Production Engineers can apply under a Vacancy meant for Mechanical Branch.

There may be certain vacancies where they relaxe the criteria to Information Science, IT, Data Engineering graduates besides CSE Branch, whereas there might be certain appointments specifically meant for CSE and Specializations.

I completed my Masters in Architecture and would like to join ISRO to become a space scientist and go to space. What should I do ?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 20th Dec, 2020

hey!

Completion of masters degree gives you a good opportunity to join easily in government sector. you can either write the all india exam or you can join by ICRB  else you can directly apply to the vacancies available in ISRO which ISRO publishes regulary on its careers portal on its official website. Also some of the IITs also offers campus placements to the iSRO to masters candidates (if you are candidate of any such IIT).

thankyou
