ISRO
Hi Arijit!
For getting into Indian Space Reasearch Organization (ISRO), you can undergo Entrance Exams provided you have the required marks! Getting in ISRO, you must have Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the main subjects. First is JEE Advance, you must have 75% aggregate in 12th for appearing in JEE Advance, and then join Indian Institute of Space and Technology (IIST). Second, Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), where you must have 60% aggregate in 12th. There are many National and State Entrance Exams to join India Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) and this will be the third option!
Hope this is helpful!

To become a space scientist, one should possess relevant education in pure science or engineering disciplines. ISRO recruit candidates with PhD in Astronomy, Physics and Mathematics along with engineers in disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics and computer science.
If still have any queries than please post your queries our experts definitely help you.
Hi Jaffer!
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) conducts a National level exam know as the ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) for Engineer/Scientist Posts!
It has 2 Stages which are a written exam and Personal Interview. You must have a 65% in your UG. Even if you are Final Year Student, you can apply. The maximum age limit is 30 years of age!
Basically ISRO conduct own examination so ISRO doesn't recruit through gate score .
But the gate examination preparation is enough for ISRO examination.

Dear aspirant,
To be an ISRO scientist there are various eligibility criteria to be in this profession and i will give you this point wise as follows-
1-First you need to be a BTech /diploma+B.tech(lateral entry)/Bsc graduate.
2-You need to pass your graduation with first class score which is 6.8/10 CGPA.
3-You can also apply for it after completing your BTech+Mtech degree.
4-Generally engineering branches like civil, mechanical, electrical are eligible for this selection.
5-Candidate's age must be less than 35 years.
Then coming to the exam pattern, the written test consists of 80 questions each carrying equal marks.
Hello Candidate,
In order to join ISRO, you have to to score minimum 50% marks in your B.Tech degree programme. There is no direct recruitment in ISRO and you have to crack the exams conducted by the organisation if you want to to become an engineer at ISRO.
It doesn't matters if you are an IITian, you will be given preference over others for recruitment as the candidate who scores higher marks than others in written examination, interviews etc. will be preferred as the more suitable candidate.
Thank you.
