Is it compulsory to fill APAAR ID in JEE Mains application. Even though correct number entered, it is showing credentials are mismatch

Sankalp Agrawal 7th Nov, 2025

Hello,

No, it’s not compulsory to fill the APAAR ID in the JEE Main application form right now.

If your APAAR ID shows a “credential mismatch” error even after entering the correct number, don’t worry, you can simply leave it blank and continue filling the form.

  • The APAAR ID field is optional for most students.

  • It’s mainly for linking your academic records under the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) system.

  • The mismatch often happens if your Aadhaar details or school record name format differ.

So, you can submit your JEE form without the APAAR ID, and it won’t affect your application.

Hope you understand.

is it possible to apply TWFS scholarship after taking addmission through EWS in 1 st year btech

Sankalp Agrawal 6th Nov, 2025

Hello,

No, usually you can’t apply for TFWS after taking admission through EWS.

TFWS seats must be chosen during counselling, not after admission.

You can confirm with your institute’s admission cell, a few may allow it only if TFWS seats are vacant and your income meets the limit.

Hope you understand.

I got net in 1st sem..is it valid or not ??

Sankalp Agrawal 5th Nov, 2025

Hello,

If you cleared NET (National Eligibility Test) while in your 1st semester of post-graduation, it will not be considered valid yet.

To be eligible for NET, you must have completed or be in the final year of your PG program. Your NET qualification becomes valid only after you finish your master’s degree with the required minimum marks (55% for General/EWS/OBC, 50% for SC/ST).

So, once you complete your PG, your NET result will be valid officially.

Hope you understand.

I got net in 1st sem..is it valid or not ??

Rahul Mandal 5th Nov, 2025

Hello,

No, the exam is not valid in the first semester because you must have completed your bachelor's degree to appear for the UGC NET, or you must be in the final year of your postgraduate studies to appear for the exam. Overall, meaning it's invalid.

I hope it will clear your query!!

I have registered for the improvement exam for 2nd PUC 2026, as I was unable to score 75% in my 2nd PUC 2025. For the registration, which criteria should I select: Appeared, Appearing, or Something else ? Please also explain the entire process, as it differs from the previous years registration.

Sankalp Agrawal 5th Nov, 2025

Hello,

Since you’ve already passed 2nd PUC in 2025 and are reappearing for improvement in 2026, you should select “Appeared” in the exam criteria section, not “Appearing.”

Here’s the process (as per the new 2026 system):

  1. Registration: Visit your college or official Karnataka Board website and fill the improvement form using your 2025 registration number.

  2. Select Subjects: Choose only the subjects you wish to improve.

  3. Documents Required: Copy of your 2025 marks card, ID proof, and recent photo.

  4. Fees Payment: Pay the improvement exam fee (per subject) online or at your college.

  5. Admit Card: You’ll get a new hall ticket mentioning “Improvement Exam 2026.”

Only your best score (old or new) will be considered for final marks.

Hope you understand.

my mother name is shaik nazima in tenth marks memo but in aadhar and all her documents name is shaik nazima begum while i want to fill JEE application as aadhar card my mother name or my tenth marks memo which one is correct and it was any problem

Prachi Kumari 6th Nov, 2025

Hello,

You should enter your mother’s name as per your Aadhaar card , which is Shaik Nazima Begum .

The JEE application is verified mainly with your Aadhaar details, so it’s better to keep it the same to avoid mismatch.

There will be no big problem if there is a small difference like “Begum” added, but it’s good to keep all documents matching in the future. You can update your school records or Aadhaar later to make them the same everywhere.

Hope it helps !
