Hello Aspirant,
Number of people who holds proficiency or even intermediate level in Japanese language in India are limited.Hence the competition level is low ,therefore if you are determined enough you can make a good career out of it.The very first obvious and lucrative option for you would be to work as a translator and interpreter . This can mostly for Japan based companies or other non-Indian companies with Japanese clients. The second option may be a little limited as it depends on the school or educational institute .It is becoming a Japanese teacher or trainer. Outside India , this can be a very good option as the demand for the language is better in comparison to India. Not many school here in India offers Japanese language as subject. But however , apart from schools , you can get many good opportunities as Japanese trainer or communicator in various companies like Sony, Honda, Panasonic, Hitachi, Toshiba, Sanyo, Casio, Canon, Minolta, Pioneer, Nikon, Fujitsu, Suzuki, Toyota, Mitsubishi etc. Many multi-national companies in cities in India such as Delhi ,Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad have been hiring Japanese language specialists. Other than MNCs , your next big pool of opportunities are BPOs and KPOs. You can work in embassies too.Above all major benefit of being an expert in the language is your ticket to Japan , to either study or work in companies there which is highly rewarding.Do not forget the travel and tourism industry, if you are interested. suggest you to explore few interesting opportunities there.
All the best
It depends on the institue you choose for teaching. Now a days teaching jobs are found to be too demanding and valuable. Everyone is preferring experienced and trusted that is old staff unless there is a vacancy available. So many students who have done Higher graduation, masters are not getting jobs. So your package depends on the State and the demand of the course. Mostly beginners earn 15 to 18k per month.

Hey there,
I will briefly explain you about the Japanese Government Scholarship programme for foreign Undergraduate students, called the MEXT Scholarship (Monbukagakusho). First of all, you don't need to study Japanese language to apply for this scholarship, since you will be admitted for a 1 year preparatory course in Japan where you get to study their language, culture etc. If you study Japanese in advance, that would be quite helpful. You won't even have to write exams like IELTS if your mode of study till 12th was in English and that you know basic English langauge. You need to pass the first screening, which will be the assessment of your documents including marks sheets, letters of recommendation etc. Once you pass the screening, you will have to attempt a written examination which will have questions related to English language, basic science etc and other subjects of the field of study you have chosen. You will be selected based on several criteria. Obtaining the scholarship will be beneficial since you will get a monthly stipend of nearly Rs 1,00,000 (which is basic monthly expenses in Japan, since it is very expensive there), exemption from tution fees, round-trip air ticket, visa charges etc are all included.
Hi Guna,
I understand that you hold a B.Com (//B.Com) degree and wish to work at some organisation in Japan and that you also possess a JLPT N3 certificate but what you need to understand is that the recruitment guidelines vary from one company to the other.
Typically, most of the professional standard jobs at Japan currently ask for a JLPT N2 or even JLPT N1 level certifications but that is not the absolute term for recruitment. So for instance, a company may hire you if you are technically sound with a JLPT N3 level certification but when there are two people with similar technical expertise, they would surely go for someone who possesses a JLPT N2 or N1 certification. Since you already are a professional in this domain with some technical expertise and experience, the odds are in your favour for your recruitment in some company or the other in Japan.
BEST WISHES!
