Yes, JNU conducts entrance exam for B.A in foreign language. The test is conducted in English language and is a CBT(computer based test) which is in online mode. The 10 different languages offered by JNU for B.A in foreign languages are divided into 3 clusters
1 : French, German, Spanish, Russian 2 : Japanese, Korean, Chinese 3 : Persian, Arabic, Pashto
Candidates may opt for three languages from two clusters or three languages from within the same group. The entrance test for this program is a standard test that will be carried along with the B.A entrance test for 3 Clusters mentioned above.
The syllabus would cover Questions concerning general knowledge, artificial language, general English, and language aptitude.

The eligibility criteria for MSC mathematics is as follows:
1. Bachelor's degree in mathematics under scheme of 10+2+3 system with at least 55% marks in aggregate is required. Or BE or Btech degree in any engineering discipline with a CGPA of around 6 out of 10 or equivalent percentage or marks is allowed.

To join M.A, you need to have a 3 years or 4 years degree and must have a minimum score of 50%. Then you can write the entrance exam (JNUEE) in either Hindi or English. There will be 100 questions in the exam and each carries 1 mark and there's no negative marking in it. If you get a good score, you can get an admission in JNU. In semester wise exams also you can write your answers in Hindi if permitted by the faculty.

JNUEE is a computer based exam. The total marks of the exam is 100 for which students will get 3 hours. 1, 2, 3 and 4 marks questions will be asked and there is no negative marking for wrong response.
The B.A. programme paper is divided in to two sections. First section contains objective type questions from Reasoning, English Grammar, Comprehension, Language for 50 marks. Second section has descriptive type questions for 50 marks. Few questions can be asked from sociology.
