Hello,
Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main is an entrance exam for admission to B.E/B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning in NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and SPAs. JEE Main score is also accepted by various private colleges, universities for admission in to the above mentioned course. JEE Main 2021 is conducted in four session. The eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Main is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board for B.Tech and B.Arch and for B.Planning a candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics from a recognized board.. Earlier to get admission to B.Tech in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs a candidate belonging to general category must have passed with minimum 75% aggregate and for SC/ST category it was 65% aggregate and to get admission to B.Arch in NITs/IIITs/GFTIs a candidate must have passed with minimum 50% aggregate marks in qualifying exam. But for the academic year 2021-22 the minimum percentage is relaxed due to corona, it means that a candidate must pass in the qualifying exam and qualify in JEE Main to get admission in to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs.

Yeah! A lot of students appears for JEE MAINS who gives WBJEE with the same preparation and cracks WBJEE even if they can't crack JEE MAINS. WBJEE is a exam easier than JEE MAINS but for this exam you need to have a strong memory as most of the question appears formulae based and in chemistry a good number of memory based questions came. So you have to make this slight changes with your preparation.
You can consider the books Rudiments of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics to be a instrumental to understand the patter and the likely mode of questions asked in WBJEE.

In the year 2020, rules were changed and according to NTA (National Testing Agency), responsible body for the conduction of JEE MAINS exam, Candidates having more than 40 percent disability will be getting extra 20 minutes per hour that means 1 hour extra in JEE MAINS exam.
