Sir, I got 70.24 percentile in JEE main exam in 1st exam. I come under OBC. Can I get seat in Suratkal, Karnataka College?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 15th Mar, 2021

Hi

With 70.24 percentile

  • your rank will be around 304445 - 342240 as per our rank predictor at

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Your obc rank will be around 75,000.

With this rank you cannot get a seat in any NIT be it NIT Surathkal or any other NIT.

Your profile suggest that you are from Karnataka so you will be eligible for home State quota for NIT Surathkal and in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 , 17514 obc rank was the closing obc rank for OBC category for home state and it was for Mining Engineering

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

So, I would suggest you focus on your preparation for remaining sessions of jee main so that you can improve your score   ,  go through chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your application you can use our jee main knockout for which link is provided below

is there any registration dates for each and every jee main exam in 2021??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Jan, 2021

Hi

NTA had released jee mains 2021 application form on 16th December 2020 in online mode at official page of jee main i. e jeemain. nta . nic . in . and that time one had the opportunity to apply for February session and rest of the three sessions as well

And yes,
Application Window will be reopened again for each of the sessions separately but dates for the same has been not released yet

The application Window will be reopened just after the declaration of February session results and that time you can apply for March session and the rest of the sessions as well, similarly application window will get reopened after march session results and that time one can apply for April session and May session also . Finally application window will get opened for the last time after April session results and that time one can apply for May session.

Now that,
limited time is left for jee mains 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation, go through chapters first , major focus should be on grasping concepts , practising questions and then revising them, go through previous year question , and mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

if a students give jee main exam with doing 100 mock test only by doing only this how much score he will get in jee mains exams?

Shrishty sahu 25th Jan, 2021
Dear student,
Mock tests are a good way to revise the complete syllabus and get used to the pattern of the examination and complete the questions within time. Mock tests will increase your speed and accuracy and will definitely increase your score in jee mains. 100 mock tests is a good number and you can expect your score to be higher than the score you get in mock tests. Because mock tests are designed in such a way so that students may push their limits. The score you'll get after 100 mock tests is solely dependent on your performance and may vary from person to person but I can definitely say that it will help you a lot.

Hello Aspirant,

See there is no need to worry if you don't have additional subjects like Physical education, CS, or any other in your class 12th curriculum but for admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs through JEE-Main you should mandatorily have Physics and Mathematics along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject id it is through paper 1 for B.Tech/BE but if it is through Paper 2 for B.Arch then you should have passed with all the three compulsory subjects Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and for B.Plan. you should have passed qualifying examination with Mathematics

can I do BTech without giving JEE main exam

suchayitaanusaha 25th Jan, 2021

Hello,

If you don't give the JEE mains examination also you can admission in BTech colleges. Some colleges have their own entrance examination for BTech and check the 12th marks. So you can admission those colleges. Otherwise you can give state entrance examination. You didn't mention your state name so i can't suggest you which entrance examination for your state. But I'll give you some examples for some state entrance examination like WBJEE for West Bengal State, GUJECT for Gujrat state, MHTCET for Maharashtra state etc.

All the best.
