ananthita 13th Nov, 2020

Hello,

To get admission for undergraduate engineering program offered by any of the NIT''S candidates are not only required to qualify JEE Main exam , but also have to meet the cutoff specified by the respective NIT 's. There are a total of 31 NITs in India and each institute releases its own JEE Main cut off to offer seats in the B.Tech courses . The JEE Main counselling and seat allocation will be done by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) . Your cut off for a particular course and college will also vary according to your category. You can visit the following site to know about the cut off for the year 2019 at various NIT'S: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-rank-required-for-admission-nits

Here is the link to the JEE Main college predictor tool that will help you to predict the colleges where you have chances of getting a seat: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor .

Hope this helps you.

i failed in 12th class in 2019 & gave jee main exam next year in 2020 i passed 12th with bihar board i gave jee mains can i gain give jee mains 3rd attempt ik 2021 plz reply

ARYAN SAGAR 9th Nov, 2020
Dear student,

If you have given your class 12th in 2019, that is, previous year, then yes you can find jee mains 2021.

Because in Jee mains, you are given a maximum of three attempts, that is first attempt in your class 12th passing year, second attempt in the next consecutive year, and the third attempt - the alternate year of your class 12th passing year.
That means if you have given JEE mains 2019 first time and you have given your class 12th in 2019 then you can give JEE mains in 2021 aa your laat attempt.

So, your one attempts of jee mains is still left but your Jee advanced has only no attempt left. That means you cannot give jee advanced 2021.
