Hello, Ranjan
You can take drop for preparation but you need to clear your 10th standard as well as 12th standard because the eligibility of jee main exam is that you should be pass out from 10th and 12th standard. so you can complete your 10th first and then 12th and after 12th you can think about drop for JEE. As syllabus of JEE is so much from 11th and 12th standard only.
BEST OF LUCK.

Hi there. In response to your query the testing which happens at the exam centre of JEE mains is conducted after the candidate is allowed into the examination centre; that is after the gate opening time till the gate closing timing. Hence the candidate should note the timings and make prior arrangements along with necessary documents to carry.
Hope this answer helps; best wishes
Hello Aspirant,
See you will be eligible for JEE-Main even if you have not scored 75% or greater marks
BUT
for admission to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs through JOSAA counselling or to appear in JEE-Advance you need to have at least 75% marks in class 12th if you belongs to General category but this percentage criteria is being waived off since the pandemic started and is also relaxed for this year but for next year if this criteria gets restored then you will become ineligible. But if it does not get restored then you will be eligible.
Also note that maximum attempts allowed for JEE-Advance is 2 in 2 consecutive years, first attempt in the passing year of class 12th or equivalent examination and second attempt in very next year to that. Similarly for JEE-Main maximum attempts allowed for JEE-Main is 3 in 3 consecutive years, first attempt in the passing year of class 12th or equivalent examination and second attempt in very next year to that followed by third attempt in third year.

Yes definitely you can appear for JEE-Main 2023 even if you have not scored 75% marks in class 12th this is because there is never a requirement of any minimum percentage in class 12th for JEE-Main but the 75% is required for admission to NITs/IIIT/GFTIs on the basis of your JEE-Main score or to appear for JEE-Advance.
But you can get admission in other colleges to by only appearing in JEE-Main depending upon the eligibility criteria.
