Jute and Fiber Technology
Hello Nivetha.
Yes mobile phones are allowed in classes as well as hostels too.
But it is to be advised that you should not use it in classroom if classes are running.
You should use it for very urgent calls or information.
As far as biomedical engineering is concerned it is really a good branch.
Good luck.
Dear,
Biomedical engineering is mainly concerned with the facts, theories and models describing biological and clinical phenomena, including other subjects such as physiology, virology, biochemistry, molecular biology and proteomics. It is the most widely applied in development of engineering solutions to both biological and clinical areas. Both biotechnology as well as biomedical engineering overlap to some extent, but are different. Both are upcoming, sunrise fields that have bright career future.Basically, if a student has interest in medicine, then Biomedical Engineering may be a better choice, whereas if the student is more interested in biology and microbiology, in such a cases biotechnology may be opted.
Hope this helps!

dear aspirant, hope you are doing well.Biotechnology is more of biology, genomics and bioinformatics. While Biomedical engineering is more of electronics and coding.Biomedical engineering is same as electronics engineering. But the difference is here we apply technology to solve health complications, which I find very intriguing. And this industry is really growing very fast.
so coming to the conclusion biomedical engineering is good choice amongst the above.
hope this will help.

Hello Khushi,
Biomedical engineering
A fresher graduate can easily get the job at a starting salary of Rs.20,000-30,000 per month in India. In abroad & Gulf countries, the salary package might be around Rs.60,000 to 80,000 per month.
Biotechnology
A fresher graduate can easily get the job at a starting salary of Rs.30,000 – Rs.35,000 per month in India. In abroad & Gulf countries, the salary package might be somewhere around Rs.80,000 to 110,000 per month.
Both of the fields are new and upcoming in the market of india hence the job prospect will be limited to certain companies and region
Hello,The career scope for both the branches are almost same. Biotechnology offers slightly higher packages than biomedical engineering. Academically, both of them have almost the same scope. To know in detail, go through the link below-https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/articles/comparison-between-biotechnology-and-biomedical-engineering-blogId-10068Good Luck!
Hi Khushi,
Here are the basic differences between the both courses.
Biotechnology is the exploitation of biological processes for industrial and other purposes, especially the genetic manipulation of microorganisms for the production of antibiotics, hormones etc.,
Biomedical technology combines biology and medicine in order to focus on the health og both humans and other organisms.
Biotechnlogy has areas of applications like healthcare, waste management, agriculture, pollution control, environment. One works with DNA, microorganisms, tissues, viruses and complex protiens.
Biomedical technology has application in vaccines, cloning, biofuels, enzymes and drugs. Areas of employment include medical equipment manufacturing, research and health service.
salary is usually similar for both categories. Starting salary can be 25000-35000 per month in INDIA.
Course duration for both is 4 years only
Hope this helps
All the best
