Hello,

There are numerous entrance examination that a medical aspirant can appear in for admission in different colleges.

For MBBS, BDS, AYUSH courses such as BAMS, BHMS etc you must appear in NEET Examination. There is no alternative to this examination if you wish to pursue aforementioned courses.

Also you must specifically mention about your aim or the examination you are targeting, because without any exam specific preparation, you won't be able to crack the examination.

you can study pure sciences and enter into research sciences if you get admissions in any of these renowed institutions.

Don't be disheartened if you do not clear this years KVPY or rather take it as a experience and prepare well for the next year that is the KVPY SX which you can appear when you are in your 12th grade and you will have the advantage of selecting your preffered subjects meaning PCB if you are a medical aspirant or PCM if you are a JEE aspirant.

But talking about SA portion students do not have quiet of an advantage whether they are a neet or a jee aspirant they have to study and attempt all four Physics, Chemistry , Biology and Mathematics.

the best books are NCERT as the portion includes a mixture of both 11th and 12th grade and tests your aplitude based on that.

The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.

The advertisement for the KVPY Fellowship appears in all the national dailies normally on the Technology Day (May 11) and the Second Sunday of July every year.

Selection of the students is made from those studying in XI standard to 1st year of any undergraduate Program in Basic Sciences namely B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology having aptitude for scientific research. Special groups / Committees are set up at IISc to screen the applications and conduct an aptitude test at various centres in the country. Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students are called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure. For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test and interview marks are considered.

i am studying in tamil nadu state board class 10 i want to prepare for kvpy exam how can i self study and which book is best for foundation ncert or hc verma

Rituparna Priyadarshini 26th Nov, 2021

Hello.

If you wish to prepare for KVPY exam then first you must be thorough with the syllabus. You have to develop a good understanding of the concerned subjects, Physics, Chemistry, Biology , Mathematics and complete the whole syllabus. Then you have to make a proper study plan and set time to prepare what and when. Then the most important thing is to keep on revising all that you read. But what is going to make a difference is practice. Try solving as much questions and give as many mock tests as you can. Only that will make you more through with the course.

Now to answer your second question, it is better to go for NCERT books Aa they give a simpler and easier understanding of the concepts.

I HAVE ID AND PASSWORD BUT I DIDNT DOWNLOADED ADMIT CARD SO WHAT I HAVE TO DO NOW

Atul Singh 23rd Nov, 2021

Dear Student,

The problem I have figured out by your question is that your can't open your account so that you can download your admit card.

So you might be entering the wrong ID or password, check your ID and if it is correct then there might be a problem with your password.

So the thing you need to do is, you have to reset your password, find the option "forget your password? " in your login page and after clicking in that you will be able to edit your password by entering your e-mail or phone no. or user ID.

Good Luck :)
