For applying to state qouta counselling in west Bengal the candidate or his parents should have to be domicile of west bengal.

There are three category of domicile -

  • Proforma a1 - the candidate have been living in the state of West Bengal for at least past 10 years

Hello,
Yes usually the satte for study during 11th 12th standards is also considered quivalent to domicile.
ANd no domicile certificates are needed to be produced for the same.

so yes you are eligible for 85% west bengal quota if you have passed senior secondary from west bengal kvs.

To get admission in kendriya vidyalaya in class 11th would be done on the basis of class 10th marks of the candidate.

In ICAR (AIEEA- UG) application form, there is an option- "Type of Qualifying examination institute" 1. Private 2. Government 3. KVS 4. JNV What option should I select if I am from a private school and have passed from CBSE board?

The answer is obvious. If you have passed class 12th form CBSE board of education from a privat school, you may select the option PRIVATE where you are asked to fill the type of institution. This will mean, that you haven't done class 12th from government school or KVS

You don't need to worry dear it doesn't matter even if you have passed from a private school ( it must be affiliated to a valid board) you are still eligible for admission in KV .

As the question says, you need to select the type of the institution in which you studied and then appeared for the qualifying examination. The options are private, Government, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan or Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
