Hi there.
Under the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) published the New National Education Policy (NEP). On July 29, 2020, the New Education Policy (NEP 2020), which had received the Union Cabinet's approval, was made public. The National Education Policy (NEP), created in 1986 and in effect for 34 years, is replaced by the New National Education Policy.
The requirements of each student are the main emphasis of the new national education policy. It seeks to give them access to a top-notch education. Additionally, the strategy aims to develop a more adaptable and flexible educational system that can adjust to the demands of both the economy and students.
According to the new National Education Policy (NEP), every student should study three languages at their school as part of the "formula." Two of the three languages must be indigenous to India. The new system will put a lot of effort into supporting mother tongue, regional language, and local language as a medium of instruction. It will be offered for grades one through five.
Sure! You can get admission.
However, you must keep in mind that your percentage will not be calculated like that of an arts student. Marks will be deducted for changing the stream and then more marks will be deducted for choosing a new subject. You have to check whether post all this if you are eligible. If yes, then you can get admission.
All the best for your future pursuits.
Feel free to ask more questions and queries!

I have supposed that you are an Undergrad (hons.) and have chosen English as a normal language paper which is the case in colleges foe everyone and the other subjects have been chosen as your pass/general papers, so you have to give them as general papers only.
