Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a centralised national level exam for getting into National Law Universities(NLUs).The test is conducted by Consortium of NLUs. Most government and private law schools consider CLAT score for admission purposes. There are many colleges which offer admission in law without any entrance exam, some of them are
Government law college, Mumbai
Balaji law college, Pune
Some colleges take admission through merit based in 10+2 and some take admission through state level entrance exam such as TS law CET, MH CET, etc. Where as some colleges conduct their own university level exams.
However, it is suggested to take admission through national level exam CLAT as it gives you benefit of taking admission in any state.

You have not mentioned the course. Government Law college, Coimbatore offers BA.LLB, LLB and LLM Bussiness Law. Admission to all these courses is based on merit in qualifying exam and counselling is conducted by TNDALU. Admission in BA, LLB is based on merit in 10+2. Admission in LLB is based on merit in 3 year bachelor's degree and admission in LLM Bussiness Law is based on merit in LLB/Integrated LLB.
The last date for applying in Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University Admission is 4th week of July, 2020. Applicants who meet cutoff threshold determined for a program, will be issued call letters for counselling, which will be conducted in offline mode. Please click the below link to know more.

. Out of 100 points career evaluation will carry 50 points and entrance test will carry 50 points and Includes 100 questions in general knowledge, general English and reasoning. Time period for the test is one hour.
To prepare for entrance exam you should practice seen and unseen passages of English, stress on Grammer part. Read news paper regularly. For general knowledge refer general knowledge books.

National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur was established in 1999 under NLUJ Act as sanctioned by the Rajasthan State Legislature in the same year.
The law university is a member of Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) that comprises 22 self-governing colleges. The university which was earlier started with a five-year integrated law degree now offers five more degrees including an MBA degree.

Admission procedure:
Admission is based on the CAT or MAT or CMAT and scored minimum-
50 percentile in case of CAT 160 total score in case of CMAT
