If I am currently studying B.Sc. course but simultaneously also preparing for NEET. can I leave the course in between if I get a good seat from the entrance exam. Also if yes then what shall be the extra procedures to be taken care of while admission to another medical college.?

Md Qutubuddin Ansari 9th Oct, 2021

Hello,

I hope you are doing fine, Yes you can. Many students takes a  drop to prepare while some take admission and simultaneously prepare for NEET. So if you are also preparing for NEET and took admission in some Bsc Course then if you get a good college next year then you just have to take the TC from the college and apply to the college that you want to take.

I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.

Good Luck

can I leave bachelors engineering after completing 1year alloted by kcet. To study in European countries

Vedang Ranmale 5th Oct, 2021

Hello student,

Yes I think you may leave bachelor's engineering after KCET for studying in European countries if you college has a good student transfer program available. A student transfer program enables a student to apply for foreign universities after the completion of subsequent years. It provides all the documents and information required for the transfer. If your college has such facilities, you may study in European countries. So, I would suggest that you may start finding such colleges under KCET.

I hope this helps, All the Best!

Neet has said that section A all the questions are cumpolsary and section B you need to answer only 10 questions. When they say that section A questions are cumpolsary does that mean that I need to mark an answer for all 35 questions even if i dont know some, or can i leave some questions unanswered

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 25th Aug, 2021

Hi

Here's a brief a neet 2021 exam pattern

* Neet examination will be conducted for a total of 720 marks.

*Question will be from 4 subjects

  • physics,

  • chemistry,

  • zooloy

  • botany

*There will be 50 questions ( 35 + 15 ) in each subject . So, there will be a total of 200 questions ( 50 question x 4 = 200 questions).

  • Section A :-  it contains 35 mcqs.

Section A is compulsory, it just means that there's no internal choices in section A. And the 35 questions can be attempted.

No, it is not mandatory to attempt all the 35 questions , you can definitely leave those whose answers  you don't know or you are not sure about because if your answer is wrong then you will lose one mark as there is negative marking of one mark so you should attempt only those questions whose answers you know and  you are sure  about it

  • Section B :- it contains 15 mcqs out of which any 10 mcqs is to be attempted

Similarly, it is not mandatory that you attend all the 10 MCQs out of the 15 MCQs in section B, you should attempt only those whose answers you know , it is just that in section B you have internal choices due to which you can attempt only a maximum of 10 MCQs in section B .

So, in each subject you have to attempt only 45 questions.

*Total number of question to be attempted

= 45 mcqs per subject x 4 subject

= 180 questions can be attempted.

* Duration of examination is 3 hours.

Marking scheme:-

* 4 marks will be awarded to you for every correct answer

* there is negative marking of one mark for every wrong answer

*No mark is deducted for unanswered questions

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-

what should I do uf u dont get selected for mbbs in neet 2021 even after 1 year full drop. should I pursue bsc and continue as a partial drop or just leave it?

sangam.nandhini 25th Aug, 2021

Hey,

For some of the students, it takes 2 or 3 attempts to clear NEET and its completely okay if they don't want any other career. If you don't get selected this time then go for another try. You can do it while pursuing you Bsc also. So, if you want to give another try then go ahead. In the mean while if you ever think of leaving it, then go ahead with BSc and MSc in reputed colleges. This will also provide you with good career. In both the ways you will have a good career and future.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

What is the duration of Home leave provided for IFS officers once in a tenure of 3 years?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 22nd Aug, 2021

If you want a full time home leave after one tenure then it can be sanctioned by your seniors in a time period of 2-3 months and can be extended for 15 days from the end date of allotted leave.

Although this rules can change depending on the situation and requirement of officers but in general this is the regulation (as per the information available online)

leave marks..just pls reply..doing mbbs in government college or private colleges..which is best?

Bhawana Kumar 27th Sep, 2021

Surely, doing MBBS course from government college is better than doing MBBS course from private college. The fees of government college is much lesser than private colleges. There are large number of patients that visit government medical colleges, the teachers are highly learned, and you can work on real patients. The more you will practice, the better doctor you will become. So you can work on more patients in government colleges and you have good facilities in government colleges at less fees. So always choose government college when compared to private colleges for M.B.B.S. course.

for example if the online classes begins from 3rd june 2021 to 21st august 2021 I took 15 days leave in between how much attendance will I get out of 100 percent

Shrejal 20th Aug, 2021

Hello student, In the time period stated by you there are total 64 workings days in this time period excluding the public holidays and weekend offs. As you have told you have taken 15 days off so your attendance comes to be somewhat 76%. But no one can tell you exact attendance because university attendance depends on the number of lectures.

All the Best!
