If you have already appeared for the MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) exam and are planning to appear for the 12th board exam again, here's what you need to know:
MHT CET Marks Validity:
Retaking MHT CET:
12th Board Exam and MHT CET:
In summary, if you are applying in the same year , your MHT CET marks remain valid. But if you are applying for admission in a different year, you will need to retake MHT CET.
Yes of course you can fill your form from obc category in MHT CET if you haven't use your caste certificate before like in your board exams But you must fulfill these conditions
If anyone is OBC but he comes under the CL (creamy layer) Section then he will not come under the OBC category. They are equal to general unreserved Category.so your category must fall under non creamy layer of OBC category.
So you have to be OBC-NCL (non creamy layer) for filling category OBC in MHT CET
Be prepared with your OBC-NCL caste certificate.you must obtain your category certificate before filing form.
If there is option of OBC-CL and if you are OBC-CL then you have to choose that option. If the option is unavailable then you have to choose general Category if you fall under OBC-CL.
GOOD LUCK!!

Hello Sahit,
Yes, you are eligible to apply for MHT CET for B.Tech after completing 12th with PCB and adding Mathematics through NIOS. Here's how:
Eligibility Criteria:
a) MHT CET requires candidates to have passed 12th (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
b) Your NIOS Mathematics marksheet can be used to fulfill the Math requirement.
How to Apply:
a) While applying for MHT CET, you need to upload both your regular 12th marksheet (PCB) and the NIOS Mathematics marksheet as proof of eligibility.
b) Ensure both documents are valid and issued by recognized boards.
Verification Process:
During the document verification phase of counseling, present both marksheets. Clearly mention that the additional Mathematics subject was completed via NIOS.
Important Note:
Keep an eye on specific guidelines from the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, as they may require additional clarification or documentation due to having two marksheets.
By combining your PCB qualification with NIOS Mathematics, you meet the eligibility for B.Tech programs through MHT CET.

Hello Hrishikesh,
Yes, scoring 150+ in MHT CET 2025 is possible if you start preparing from November, even from scratch. Here's how you can plan effectively:
Understand the Syllabus : Focus on the MHT CET syllabus, which aligns with the Maharashtra State Board for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology for PCB). Prioritize high-weightage chapters.|
Daily Study Schedule : Dedicate at least 6-8 hours daily, dividing time equally among subjects. Allocate time for theory, problem-solving, and revision.
Focus on Concepts : Build a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Use NCERT textbooks and additional reference books like HC Verma for Physics and RD Sharma for Mathematics.
Regular Practice : Practice solving previous years' MHT CET papers and mock tests to improve speed and accuracy.
Time Management : Learn to balance speed with accuracy since MHT CET is a speed-based exam with no negative marking.
Seek Guidance : Enroll in online/offline coaching or watch free lectures if needed. Platforms like Unacademy, Vedantu, or YouTube offer helpful resources.
With consistent effort and regular practice, achieving a 150+ score is achievable even with a late start.
