harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 30th Aug, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

You can easily get a call from Delhi school of economics for MBA if you score 89+ percentile. The college is famous for its return on investment as the college fees is very low as compared to other mba colleges. Numbers of seats for MBA (IB) and MBA(HRD) is 75 (62+13) for each Program (General -31, OBC -17, SC - 09, ST - 05 = 62).

Number one institute for management in India

SUMIT AGARWAL 21st Nov, 2019

Hi Muhammed,

IIMs- Ahmadabad, Bangalore and Calcutta, fight each year for being the best college for MBA in our country. Hence, there's no clear winner among these.

The most sought-after post-graduation degree for most of the people today is MBA. For many people it’s a golden ladder to quickly climb up the corporate ladder. MBA offers fast-paced career growth which helps students to launch themselves in the highly competitive world of job market. Hence, to make your career sound, the root has to be made strong. An MBA degree from a random college wouldn’t bear you any fruits and your investments over there might be dangerous for you. Hence, making your investments count for the future, you must secure them today by getting yourself enrolled in top MBA colleges of the country. Now, there is some unique aura around these top MBA colleges. They offer management education in pace with global MBA environment. They are also accredited or in the process of getting accredited to one or more international accreditations. They have a unique pedagogical style and their faculties are highly qualified and having graduated from one of the top universities around the globe themselves. Finally, the kind of competitive environment that the students of these colleges set amongst themselves is highly noteworthy. They consistently get higher average placements every year as they are already industry ready.

Now coming to the shortlisting of the top colleges, we have to consider few standard parameters before positioning each college at their right position.

Brand of the B-School

Brand of the B-School is a highly important parameter, when we shortlist the B-Schools. Hence the brand plays a crucial role here. Brand is also related to how good the placements will be in the particular college. The stronger the brand, the better will be the placements. Although, if you consider placements to be a short run goal, being an alumnus of a prestigious institute, can get you many laurels in the long run. Hence, your career can get an additional boost if you belong to such prestigious alumni network.

Peer Quality

The students of any B-School form the lifeline of that school. They bring a sense of competitive environment around the aura of the school. Also, many of the corporates judge a school based on the quality of the students of that school. This competitive nature helps a lot in their peer to peer learning process. Hence, better the peers, richer is the learning experience.

Placements

Placements form undoubtedly one of the most key parameters for a student to consider joining any B-School. And, to be fair, they are right in their approach as at the end of the day, you will also look at the return on your investments that you receive in trusting any college. The big brand colleges, easily attract big corporates as they look out for good quality students. Although, these institutes claim a very high number for placements, one should do one’s own due diligence before joining these colleges.

While, the above-mentioned parameters are crucial ones, one must not forget to give equal weightage to other parameters for consideration such as Quality of Infrastructure, Fee, Programmes offered, Teaching pedagogy etc.

Based on the above parameters, we now consider the B-Schools as shown below,

Note: These listings are only for the flagship 2-year MBA programmes. Also, these listings are just a collection of institutes under top 20 and are not the same as their rankings.

The following are the top government as well as private universities that are renowned for their MBA course,

Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA)

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB)

Is other State candidate eligible for private medical college in Punjab ?? I m from UP and in my family no one do anything there?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Hi Prashant, Private Medical Colleges do not participate in All India Counselling and the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. And for appearing for State Counselling you need to hold the domicile of that particular State. Or else the only other option is through Management Quota.Under All India Quota, All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. And there are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.

In short, even Management Quota seats are filled through State Counselling. After all rounds are over any left over seats are filled up through Spot Admission and you can try then.

iammohdshareef 4th Sep, 2019
Hello,
.
Are you asking about if college doesn't give my certificate back if I get a seats?
.
If it is,then obviously every college focuses on students best Career..
As you found you Career in some other course rather then what you are doing.
Then, you are allowed to go. There's no college who can reject you.
.
After getting qualified visit college explain them the situation.
Visit vice principal or admission faculty. And after you gave your details you will be told to do some formalities like giving a letter or paying fees for cancellation. No bigger tasks will be given.
.
And don't forget to visit college with parents. There will be no much value given for student visit.
.
Hope this was relevant to your question. If not please ask for further information.
Thank yoi
