Mass Communication
Hello aspirant
Here are few of the best colleges for BA in mass communication in Ahmadabad
I hope it helps.
Dear Aspirant,
To choose between Mass communication or MBA it depends upon your interest and passion. If you are interested in finance, HR, Operations etc then Mass communication would not be a good option,
But if you are interested in Marketing especially advertising, digital marketing then Mass communication would be good option than MBA in marketing
So it depends upon your interest about in which field you want to do your career
Hope this helps
In Xavier's College the Journalism Course is 10 months full-time, Diploma Programme intended ainstruction in the role and function of mass media. Hi
As per your question Jadavpur University
Jadavpur University’s recently launched MA in Journalism and Mass Communication programme has
landed during a controversy over its eligibility criteria. The varsity had set the eligibility criteria for the
two-year course as BA (Hons)/Major with minimum 50% marks obtained. This official notification has
irked many candidates . it's also being perceived as violation of the UGC's norm. Eligibility criteria
notified by the UGC in 2003 says all BA, B Com and B Sc graduates can pursue Master’s programme in
Mass Communication and Journalism.
The newly launched MA programme is meant to supply the candidates a well-rounded knowledge
through theory and practical classes. it'll be offered by Department of Adult, Continuing Education and
Extension (DACEE) of Jadavpur University. The DACEE also offers Post Graduate Diploma in Mass
Communication.
The university plans to collaborate with the Press Club, Kolkata for the programme. the primary batch
will contains 40 students and therefore the last date to use in June 9 but with the invention of
discrepancy in eligibility viz the UGC notification, the last could be extended.
“If the department violates the UGC rules, we'll check out this norm”, Suranjan Das, the administrator of
the Jadavpur University was quoted as saying by a national daily. consistent with an equivalent national
daily, he also asked the candidates to send him a memorandum regarding the lacunae (if any) within the
said course.
According to UGC, universities can admit students in professional courses through lateral entry, subject
to their discretion. the present criteria disallows students from other streams also as working journalists
to pursue the course, which has left many candidates unhappy.
Hope helpful.

Hi,
The University of Delhi has not yet released the cutoff marks for this year yet. It is expected to release in the month of August and it will be on the official website du.ac.in .
We can only predict the expected cutoff marks for now according to the previous years trends for B.Com (//B.Com) program.
The highest closing marks range is for general category which is around 92-98 in most colleges. And the lowest closing marks range are for ST category which is around 82-86. So, you have a good chance of getting into the B.Com (//B.Com) program.
You can check out the following link and refer to the previous years closing range marks for the DU colleges for your category.
