Can anyone explain me the main branch.....( CS , Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics...etc)

Dear Abhishek,

You should always prefer a course acording to your interest, passion and skill. 

Before choosing any course always keep in a mind that which type of career you want to make in future. Choose the branch in which you can enhance your skills and you don't get bore. 

There is a always good job opportunities for a right candidate who have desired skills and knowledge.

 

All these branches are core branches and offer good future scope. If we compare the branches then CSE is the most demanding branch among all it privides maximum job with good packages followed by ECE, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and IT. 

You should focus on to get top colleges of engineering as you will get good placements and teaching in every branch. There is a lot of competition envolved to get good colleges so plan your studies accordingly.

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with science and mathematics as mandatory subjects with 45% minimum aggregate from UP board or any other board of education.

For CSE and ECE branch these are the below top colleges which can be considered for admission through jee mains:
1. IIIT Hyderabad
2. NIT Warangal
3. NIT Trichy
4.NIT Warangal
5.NSIT
6.DTU
7.IIIT Allahabad
  • 2-3 more top NITs, BIT Mesra rank similar and you should be able to choose one according to your region as there is regional quota also. IIIT Delhi and Bangalore should also be considered though.

ISM Dhanbad takes admission through JEE Advanced and NIT Silcher takes admission through JEE Main.

 

In order to be eligible for JEE Advanced you have to qualify for JEE Main exam first.

You should also have 75% marks in your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile in general category. For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.

Electronics Engineering is a branch of electrical engineering. The discipline studies the use of electromagnetic spectrum in a broad way and is related to the application of electronic devices like integrated circuits, transistors etc. 

 

Choosing a branch totally depends on your interest. ECE is one of the most demanding branch among students. It has good growth in the future as electronics industry is in boom.

If i have diploma in electronics engineering then i can take addmission in btech in mechanical engineering from lateral entry?

Yes, if you have passed diploma, you can apply for B.tech. in Computer Science from Lateral Entry after Diploma in Computer Science. Almost, all the colleges accept admissions through Lateral Entry procedure. But, IIT's don't allow Lateral Entry programmes.
 
You have an extra edge as you are well gone through the syllabus of B.tech. CS in Diploma CS. You must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized Diploma awarding institute recognized by AICTE.

how much should i score in jee mains to get admission into NIT DELHI in electrical engineering or electronics engineering ?

According, to 2017 cut off you should score around 180 marks in JEE Main to get EEE branch in NIT Delhi in general category other state quota.

All above courses are amazing, If you're tafgetibg core job rolesinto manufacturing and Construction and Telecom sectors, You should go with Mechanical or Electronic Engineering.

If you want to get into industry like IT and Media with roles like Data scientist, Data Analytics, Software and App development, Hardware deployment then Computer science Engineering is best for you.

Core jobs in India are avwraging at 20% wherras IT based roles are at 65%.
Average salary for core branches are 4-5LPA ,for IT based roles salary is more competitive at 6-9LPA.
Opportunities too are more for Computer science Engineering as Automation based Technology is in high demand.
