What is the difference between electrical engineering and electronics engineering ?

Anonymous 25th Sep, 2017

Electrical Engineering is the Study and Utilization/Application of Flow of Electrons.
Electronics Engineering is the Study and utilization/Application of Flow of Charge ( Electron & Holes).

EEE: In EEE, students have to studyElectrical as well as Electronics. It is the study and application of electrical systems for use in different environments and contains basic electronic courses and more power system.

ECE: Here, aspirants deal with Electronics with some part of communication. The subject uses the scientific knowledge of the behaviour and effects of electrons to develop devices, systems, or equipment that uses electricity as part of its driving force. Also it contains basics on electrical machines and more on integrated circuits and communication systems.

what is the placement package for electronics engineer passing out from IIT Delhi

omarunpandey 16th Jun, 2022

Hi there,

The placement and packages of Electrical engineer ( no specific electronic branch is there for electronic in IIT Delhi) are given as :-

Approximately 80%+ students gets placed in campus placement drive. Also most of students moves in the direction of computer and software related sector. But few students also go in core companies.

According to students the average package would be around 10-11 lakh per annum and highest package can be 1.5 cr .

So the placement and packages are very good for electrical branch and can be considered one of the top in the country.

I am studying in 2nd year BE electronics engineering, which field for M.Tech in computer engineeri should I choose ?

Surbhi Mehtani 5th Sep, 2017
Hi

Your choice of M.Tech GATE exam depends on your interest. But to give more clarity, I would advice you to check the eligibility criteria of GATE 2018.

GATE is an entrance exam for M.Tech admissions. The exam is conducted for 23 disciplines of engineering and every discipline has its own eligibility.
Prioritize your interest first and then check the eligibility for the same.

Refer to the link given below:
