Dear Student,
For calculating KCET 2021 Rank, marks obtained in Physics , chemistry and mathematics/biology separately will be considered for making the merit rank. Note that .. 12th marks is not required or used here for KCET calculation .
For KCET in Engineering courses :
marks obtained in Physics , Chemistry and maths will be considered .Then .. based on the total score gained in KCET exam .. the respective rank will be given to each candidate .
For KCET in Pharmacy :
Marks obtained in Physics , chemistry and biology will be considered .The total score on these will determine the respective ranks of each candidate.
But, remember.. some factors can effect the KCET rank such as ..hardness level of questions, no of students appeared compared to previous year, Seat capacity etc.

Hi, aggregate percentage of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics should be 60%. This simply means that you need an average of 60% . Individually if you score less than it is fine. All you need is 60% aggregate. For example, if you have scored 58% in Physics, 67% in Chemistry and 80% in Maths. Your aggregate will be 68.33%. Hope this helps.
Hi aspirant,
Since your son has taken basic maths for the session 2021-22 and has even road determine examination it is not possible to change it to standard mathematics till term 2. However there is a provision made for these kind of students who have initially chosen basic mathematics and want to make career with pcm as subjects. They can appear for the compartment examination for standard mathematics that will be conducted after the end of term 2 and therefore be eligible to choose mathematics as their subject in higher secondary education.
Hope it helps!!
Hello
For taking admission in B.Tech in Biotechnology you have to appear in JEE exam. Yes ,maths is compulsory subject for B.tech biotechnology, but if you are Biology student you can go with Bsc (Hons.) Biotechnology which does not require maths as a compulsory subject. No with your NEET score you can not take admission in Biotechnology. All the Best.
Hi aspirant, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started offering students of Class 10, two version of Mathematics- Basic Math and Standard Math. Board has justified its new step by saying that it will relieve students who are weak in Mathematics and don't want to study it in higher classes. Generally, students who opt for Biology for Medical stream or opt for Arts Stream, don't take Math in Class 11.
For switching Basic Math to Standard Math, a student need to pass Standard Math in Compartment Examination conducted by CBSE. After passing in Standard Math in Compartment Examination, students become eligible to study Mathematics in higher classes.
Thank You.

Hello Aspirant,
Unfortunately you are not eligible for JEE-Main as per the current eligibility criteria of JEE-Main because JEE-Main current eligibility criteria goes like :-
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board .
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.
So as you don't have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, you would not be eligible for JEE-Main 2022.

Dear student,
There are mainly two ways through which candidates can join the Indian Army after 12th. They are as follows :
For NDA it is important to note that only male unmarried candidates between the ages of 16 ½ and 19 ½ can apply for this academy. They must also pass their 12th from a recognized university or board.
For TES only unmarried male candidates who have passed their 12th standard in physics, chemistry and mathematics with the aggregate of 70% can apply for this examination. Here, the candidates are assessed on the basis of their 10 + 2 scores after which they will be required to appear for an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board.
If you qualify in all these criteria you can join the army after 12th, and for the grace mark you received in 10th the solution you have done by choosing for the open board is effective. YES now you have zero problems in joining army.
NM is a one year duration course with the eligibility of 10+2 (from Arts or Science stream), 10 th class . Students have to secure at least 40-50% marks in the qualifying examination. The minimum age requirement is 17 years. Only female students can apply for this course.
If you want sample papers or mock tests for IX standard Maths then I would like to inform you that you can find it on the web.
You just have to open your browser, type the Board, subject name and your standard and then after you search it, you will find numerous results for your query.
There are various sites available that provide all these information without charges, you can save it from there for future reference.
Thank you.
