Hi,

Well most of the college's demand you to have atleast 50 or 60% marks in class 12th to be eligible to take admission in engineering. With that your score might be a hindrance in getting a seat so that is why you need to be searching for some colleges where the eligibility cut off is low but still the chances seem very tough.

I hope my answer helps.

All the best.

whos lectures(detailed concept) are best for jee mechanics: alakh pandey or namo kaul

Naufal Mohamed 21st Jan, 2020
Both the books are decent but my suggestion would be the household HC Verma. Mainly because of the numerical questions in it. Solving just one question would teach you almost all the skills and concepts associated with that particular topic. Also dont neglect NCERT.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 13th Feb, 2020

hi,

for semester preparation you should follow the books suggested by you to your college faculty. see gate and semester exam is totally two different type exam, for understanding for basic conceptual part any good text book will be good. gate is numerical question type exam. you need to solve as many of questions for gate. follow the previous years paper, you will get an idea. schaums series books are best for numerical practice.
