For teaching, A bachelor of education degree is compulsory for primary level , and for teaching at universities and colleges, masters degree or a phD is a compulsion. So, you'll have to get at least one of these in order to go into the teaching line.

Admission of students into the Autonomous Degree Courses will be on the basis of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination or its equivalent, for both the Undergraduate (UG) and the Postgraduate (PG) courses, unless specified otherwise.

For the Bachelor in Management Studies (BMS) & Bachelor in Mass Media (BMM) Courses, unlike other courses, the students come from all 3 faculties (Arts, Science & Commerce) where the marking systems are very different. After 12th, for journalism and mass communication, there are many renowned colleges across the country. It also depends upon your budget.

Jamia Milia Islamia, Jawahar Lal Nehru University, Indraprasth University, Delhi University, Symbiosis Institute are regarded as best universities across the country. Many of these required to pass entrance examinations conducted by these universities. So your 12th marks matters but not that much.
