Can somebody take admission now in Private Medical college if he/she has not appeared in 2019 NEET exam.

Joydeep Saha Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019
Hey Suranjan !
Sorry to inform but admission in all forms of undergrad degrees of MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BAMS, BHMS etc. in the Govt. and Pvt. Medical Colleges is based on the sole discretion of their rank achieved in NEET.
And for that, appearing for NEET is quite essential.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck !

How much marks do I need to score in NEET to get into any of the top 20 government medical college in India.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 18th Aug, 2019
Dear Vishnu, 701 marks was the top NEET score in 2019. This student opted for MAMC. You havent mentioned your Category. Because your score and Category play a role in deciding your rank in the merit list. And cut offs change every year. They are dependant on various factors like no.of candidates appearing for NEET, no.of candidates qualified in NEET, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Considering each top Medical College has a seat intake of 100-150 and the seats are distributed among all Categories, your Category plays a role here. IMU BHS, VMMC, King George Medical College, CMC Vellore all are considered top Colleges and now you cannot hold domicile of all these States and so you have to apply through All India Counselling alone. Which means any score less than 600 is difficult for you to get a seat in the top Colleges.

Now with that cut throat competition, you need an extensive preparation and this might help you:
