Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the latest NEET eligibility criteria released by National Testing Agency, then it says that

The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2021 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects :-

  • UR - 50%,
  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
  • PWD - 45%

And since you have mentioned that you have total aggregate of 53.66% so you are eligible for NEET 2021 and also note that admission to MBBS course is taken solely through NEET score so if you are seeking admission for MBBS course then you mandatorily appear in NEET and for microbiology, different colleges may have different eligibility criteria.

For complete details about eligibility criteria for NEET 2021 kindly check out the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

As you belongs to Tamil Nadu then your NEET 2021 score should be at least 550 or more out of total 720 marks for good government medical colleges under state quota counselling of Tamil Nadu and if you want good government medical colleges such as AIIMS, JIPMER and others through AIQ counselling then you should set your target for 660+ marks out of 720 in NEET 2021. Note that this prediction is on the basis of previous year's cut-off which you can check out from the links given below and also the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors :-
