Hello,
NATA will contain two parts of exam .Part A will be a drawing test of 135 minutes duration and part B consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry,Mathematics , General Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. Part B will have 15 questions from PCM and each questions carries 1.5 marks. This leads to a total of 22.5 marks.Similarly the General Aptitude and Reasoning section will have 35 questions with 1.5 marks each leading to a total score of 52.5.
Compared to the total marks the marks for Chemistry is comparatively low but it doesn't mean that you can skip this section.A difference of a few marks can cause a large difference in the ranks. You can prepare well by practicing the previous question papers. The syllabus for Chemistry is given below:
Some basic concepts of chemistry,Structure of Atom,Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, Chemical Bonding and Molecular, States of Matter,Chemical Thermodynamics,Equilibrium,Redox Reactions,Hydrogen,s block elements,p block elements,Hydrocarbons, Environmental Chemistry.
Even though the syllabus is vast you can narrow it down by solving previous papers and mock tests. To know more visit the link below :
