Cut off mark in neet 2025 for bot in Annamalai university?

Kenma Kozume 16th Feb, 2025

hi ,

As of February 2025, Annamalai University has not officially released the NEET 2025 cutoff marks for the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) program. Historically, specific cutoff marks for this program have not been publicly disclosed. Admission to the BOT program typically requires candidates to have completed their 10+2 education with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany and Zoology, or Mathematics, achieving at least 35% in each subject and a minimum aggregate of 40%.

While NEET scores are generally required for medical and allied health science programs, the exact cutoff marks for the BOT program at Annamalai University can vary annually based on factors such as the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall performance. For the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the 2025 admissions and cutoff marks, it is advisable to consult the official Annamalai University admissions portal or contact the admissions office directly.

hope this helps

Hello,

You should fill in your parents' correct names in the NEET form , as they should match your official documents.

  • Since you have already applied for correction in CBSE, you should wait until the updated mark sheets are issued.
  • If the correction is not completed in time, fill in the NEET form as per your current mark sheets to avoid discrepancies.
  • During the exam and counseling process, ensure that all your documents, including the corrected mark sheets, match the details provided in the NEET form.

I have question regarding neet2025 form filling. They are asking for 10th std marksheet and 10th std certificate. However my son was in cbse board, cbse do not give 10th std or even 12th passing certificate. Cbse only gives marksheet. So what to do now ? what to attach to 10th std passing cert?

Prachi Kumari 16th Feb, 2025

Hello,

In the NEET 2025 application process , candidates are required to upload both the Class 10 marksheet and the passing certificate. However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) typically issues only a marksheet for Class 10. Here's how you can address this:

  1. Upload the Class 10 Marksheet : Since CBSE provides an official marksheet, scan and upload this document where the application asks for the Class 10 marksheet.

  2. Use the Same Marksheet for Passing Certificate : In the absence of a separate passing certificate, the same Class 10 marksheet can serve as proof of passing. Upload this marksheet in the section requesting the passing certificate.

  3. Provide a Self-Declaration if Required : If the application system does not accept the same document twice, prepare a self-declaration stating that CBSE issues only a marksheet for Class 10, which serves as both the marksheet and passing certificate. Convert this self-declaration into a PDF and upload it in place of the passing certificate.

  4. Contact NTA for Clarification : To ensure compliance, it's advisable to reach out to the National Testing Agency (NTA) directly for confirmation on this matter.

By following these steps, you can effectively address the requirement for both documents in the NEET 2025 application process.

How should I add marks and obtained marks as a IB student where result is in level system. I want to fill NEET 2025 form and add my 10 qualifications as a IB student.

Prachi Kumari 16th Feb, 2025

Hello,

As an IB (International Baccalaureate) student filling out the NEET 2025 application, you need to convert your IB grades (1-7 scale) into percentage format. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Check IB Grade Conversion :

    • Many Indian universities use a standard scale:
      • 7 = 96-100%
      • 6 = 83-95%
      • 5 = 70-82%
      • 4 = 56-69%
      • 3 = 41-55%
      • 2 = 21-40%
      • 1 = 0-20%
  2. Confirm with IB Coordinator :

    • Your IB school may provide an official percentage conversion certificate.
  3. Calculate Your Marks :

    • Convert each subject’s IB grade to percentage using the school’s scale.
    • Multiply the percentage by the total marks of the subject .
  4. Fill in NEET Form :

    • In the "Marks Obtained" section, enter the converted percentage and total marks.
    • Example: If IB Physics (Grade 6) = 90% , and total marks = 100 , enter 90/100 .

My TC from navodaya vidyalaya (uttrakhand) shows my category general but I am from State OBC category uttarpradesh will it cause any problem during NEET counselling? And can i get OBC quota from uttarpradesh?

kumardurgesh1802 15th Feb, 2025

Hello Sachin,

Your TC mentioning "General" may cause issues during NEET counselling if the authorities strictly verify documents. Since you belong to OBC in Uttar Pradesh, you can still claim the OBC quota if you provide a valid OBC certificate issued by UP authorities. Ensure your caste certificate is in the central OBC list and matches the details in your NEET application. If needed, get the TC corrected or provide additional supporting documents during counselling.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

What are the medical colleges in India that needs early registration for admission even before the Neet exam. For example the CMC Vellore college registrations have started. What are the other colleges?

Kenma Kozume 14th Feb, 2025

hi ,

certain medical colleges require candidates to complete additional application procedures or registrations prior to the NEET examination . Notable examples include:

  • Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore:

    • CMC Vellore mandates that applicants register separately on their official portal before the NEET exam. This early registration is crucial for candidates aiming to secure admission to their MBBS program.
  • Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune:

    • AFMC requires candidates to register on their official website in addition to appearing for NEET. Post-NEET, shortlisted candidates undergo further selection processes, including tests and interviews, as part of AFMC's admission criteria.
  • Banaras Hindu University (BHU):

    • BHU conducts its own registration process for medical admissions. Candidates interested in BHU's medical programs must complete this registration in addition to taking the NEET exam.
  • Jamia Hamdard University:

    • Similar to other institutions, Jamia Hamdard requires prospective students to register on their platform before NEET. This ensures that candidates are considered for their medical courses upon qualifying NEET.
  • University of Delhi:

    • Medical colleges under the University of Delhi may have specific registration requirements. Aspirants should check the respective college's admission guidelines to ensure compliance with any pre-NEET registration mandates.

Important Considerations:

  • Stay Updated: Admission procedures can vary annually. It's essential to regularly visit the official websites of the medical colleges you're interested in to stay informed about application timelines and requirements.

  • Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documents are prepared in advance, as some institutions may require specific paperwork during the early registration process.

  • Deadlines: Adhering to application deadlines is crucial. Missing early registration windows can disqualify candidates from being considered for admission, regardless of their NEET performance.

hope this helps

HI i AM APPEARING FOR NEET 2025. Suggest i need to choose between BAMS and B PHARMA. Which one is better for Career . in terms of eanning and growth path options. If i dont go further for own practice.

Ankit 15th Feb, 2025

If you're choosing between BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and B. Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) for career growth without private practice, B. Pharma may offer better opportunities. It provides roles in pharmaceutical companies, research, regulatory affairs, and drug development , with good prospects in India and abroad. BAMS can lead to careers in healthcare, government sectors, or academics. In terms of salary and career progression , B. Pharma offers stability and broader industry options, making it a preferred choice for those not interested in clinical practice.
