I got rank 861668 in neet 2025 I put bds deemed college like loni pravra , sangli bvdu, Sharad Pawar wardha, Kims karad but I dont get any allotment today and I did not register for other state also so I asked counsellor if I can get in round 2 he is saying no chance

Chelsie G 18th Aug, 2025

With an AIR of 861668 in NEET 2025, the chances of getting a seat in BDS deemed colleges like Loni Pravara, Sangli BVU, Sharad Pawar Wardha, or Kim’s Karad in the first round are extremely low, which is why you didn’t receive any allotment.

Regarding Round 2, your counsellor is correct,with such a high rank, it is very unlikely that you will get a seat in these colleges, even if seats remain vacant. Also, since you did not register for other states, you are limited to the options you selected. you can use this  links for predicting your college with your rank;

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for the 85% state quota counselling in Maharashtra.

  • You have a valid Maharashtra domicile certificate, which is a key requirement.

  • You have completed Class 10 and Class 12 in Maharashtra, even though the boards are CBSE and NIOS. Completing both in the state meets the educational criteria.

My name is akhina and I am from trivandrum and my neet state rank is 24661 and i am obc category. Should I get admission.

Simran Vohra 13th Aug, 2025

Hello!

So according to your NEET rank that is 24,661 and you belong to OBC category it is difficult for you to get a government MBBS seat because the ranks usually closed around 5000-8000 and your is way above that.

You can still try in BDS government seats through your OBC quota. You can also get admission into AYUSH courses like BAMS or BHMS. Make sure to attend to attend all rounds of counselling to get a better seat as ranks usually drops in later rounds.  You can also try in private colleges but the fees will be higher.

I cleared my neet Exam with ranking AIR935000 and OBC ranking is 407000 can i get Admission in this college with MBBS course having 15 lakh Budget

Afreen 13th Aug, 2025

In the lower end of the spectrum for government college seats in the OBC (2AG) category, the highest closing rank was recorded at 59,231 in Round 1. Therefore, securing an MBBS seat in a government college with your current ranks is highly unlikely.

Your budget of 15 lakhs for the entire course might be a significant constraint. A private MBBS in India can cost between 10-30 lakhs annually.Some private colleges in certain states might have annual fees closer to your budget, such as Hind Institute of Medical Sciences (Uttar Pradesh) at approximately INR 15 lakhs per year.

If MBBS is not feasible, consider other rewarding medical careers like BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT, nursing, or paramedical courses, which have lower NEET score requirements.

Neet Admission Process details

viraj patvardhan 13th Aug, 2025

The first step is to register online on the official counseling websites. Candidates need to provide their NEET UG roll number, application number, and other personal details. This step also involves paying a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. The fees vary depending on the category of the candidate.

After registration, candidates can fill in their preferences for colleges and courses. It's crucial to be strategic and realistic with your choices based on your NEET rank. The number of choices you can fill is usually not limited, so it's a good idea to list as many as you're willing to join. Once you're sure of your choices, you must lock them before the deadline. Locked choices cannot be changed later. If you fail to lock your choices, the last saved preferences will be automatically locked.

Seats are allotted based on a combination of your NEET rank, the choices you filled, your category, and the availability of seats. The results for each round of counseling are published on the official websites. If you are allotted a seat, you must download the seat allotment letter.

Once you receive a seat allotment, you must report to the designated college within the specified time frame to confirm your admission. This involves physically going to the college, verifying your documents, and paying the remaining admission fees.

Neet ug cut off for general kashmiri migrants in karnataka govt medical college mbbs was 415 in 2023, 431 in 2024 and 400 this year but everyone here says 330-380 marks was cut off in recent years i am very confused

Chelsie G 18th Aug, 2025

For Kashmiri Migrant quota in Karnataka government medical colleges, the cutoff has been on the higher side, like 415 in 2023 and 431 in 2024. The 330 to 380 range people mention is usually for private or management quota, not government seats. For exact cutoff and chances, you can check through the Careers360 college predictor and counselling links;

To get my caste reservation in neet pg in my home state Rajasthan( done mbbs from other state)1st I have to get raj. Medical council certificate than pass Medical officer raj. And than neet pg. Is this thing possible? Which prblms I would face in this? Bcoz may be I hv to do my mbbs from other state

Nikita shahi 13th Aug, 2025

Hello Vanshika, if you have completed your MBBS from another state but want to claim Rajasthan state quota for NEET PG, you will need to provide valid domicile proof of Rajasthan. Usually, this means you or your parents must have been residents of Rajasthan for a certain period (as per state rules). The Medical Council registration from Rajasthan and a Medical Officer certificate can help, but domicile eligibility is the key factor. If you do not meet the domicile requirements, you may only be eligible for the All India quota, not the Rajasthan state quota. You should contact the Rajasthan NEET PG counselling authority to confirm the documents needed.
