National Law University, New Delhi
Hi student ,
Yes the JEE mains exam is used to join the B-Tech in second year for Diploma students but it's mostly given by students who want admission in IITs , NiTs or GFTIs . If you are seeking for such colleges as you have mentioned you got good rank then you can apply in this type of colleges . But most of the Engineering college's in India whether it's B.E. or B.Tech provide direct second year admission for the students you have completed diploma. So it doesn't matter whether you give JEE mains or not .
Hope it may help you!!!!
Hello dear,
As you did not mentioned which category you belong to, it is difficult to predict.
But definitely you need to have above 450 marks to secure a AYUSH seat through AIQ (considering you as general category student).
Even for state quota, you can consider 450 as a safe score to get into good govt. BAMS college.
But you asked for minimum marks(cut off) and that is difficult to predict as it keep changing every year based on various factors.
If you belong to gen category and want a seat in govt. BAMS college then your minimum required marks will be above 420.If you have reservations then 380 above works fine.
You can try in private BAMS colleges which also require marks above 350 .
If you can afford you can go for admission in Central/National universities or management quota in private colleges. These seats you can get even if you do not hold good marks.
Hope you found this helpful.
All the best!
