how many marks I get in total in jee main 2020 only reading ncert books.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th May, 2020
Abhijit, 97-98% of the questions are asked from NCERT books alone. The rest 2-3% are from other books. Assuming that you only study NCERT books, you should be able to answer 98% of the questions. But because there is no negative marking, you will not lose out on any incorrect answers. You get to save every point that you scored. Now what you will score depends on what you have learnt. So even if you go by NCERT books, your preparation level is what decides how much you score in the exam. But on a general note, if you follow NCERT books you will score 200 and above. how many marks will i get by reading only ncert books in jee mains

harsh Student Expert 23rd May, 2020

Hello dear

First of all just reading any of the book will not help you to score good marks in jee mains because jee exam is one of the important exam in India through which admission in NIT  AND IIIT s and other Various college in btech course.

This exam filters those students who are better than others. And you need a lots of practice to give them competition.

NCERT book provides you a good stuff and a good basics but the practice you require can not be fulfill by only this because there are not so much question available. Matha book is good their are a number of question available for practice

But instead of it you should move towards other good books also which helps you to build your concepts and you can solve any questions on that concepts .

But apart from  this if you restrict yourself to the NCERT book only than you may score good marks it will depend upon your natural talent and your understanding and responding power .

But averagely you can score near about 100 marks.

So good luck

Physics needs utmost focus and time because it involves with theoretical concepts and numbers. There should be a systematic approach in preparing for NEET. The important topics are Mechanics, ElectroDynamics, Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Simple Harmonic Motion, Waves. Formulae form an integral part of your preparation. The important topics are Optics, Ray Optics, Optical Instruments, Wave Optics, Electronic Devices, Electrostatics, Electric Charges and Fields, Thermodynamics, Electrostatic Potential, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic induction, Alternating current, Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter. Highest weightage goes to Optics at 10%. Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Electronic devices share 9%. Current Electricity and Electromagnetic induction, Alternating current take 8%. Dual Nature of Radiation gets 6% while Motion systems of rigid particles and body and Magnetic effects of Currents, Electromgentic waves and Magentism get 5%. Work, Energy and Power take 4%, Atoms and nuclei, Oscillation and Waves, Properties of Bulk Matter, Laws of Motion and Kinematics share 3% and the rest of the topics carry 2% weightage. Memorise as many formulae as you can and write them down and stick them as post its so that you can always see them. Practise regularly and try various kinds of questions. Solving previous papers and mock tests to test your improvement. Keep a clock and check the time its taking you to solve these questions. And improve the time as you practise more. for preparing jee which std ncert books are sufficient?

Pankhuri Kumari 17th May, 2020
Hii Sonal!
In order to prepare for Jee Mains entrance exam, initially, you should focus on the NCERTs of both class 11th and 12th, of all the subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Then, you should also read and study some extras related to.the syllabus.
You need to solve previous year question papers and various question banks related to the exam. This will help you gain good knowledge for the exam.
Hope this helps.
Good luck !

is ncert books is enough for vit examination for biotechnology (pcb ) ??

Bhawna Mehbubani 26th May, 2020

Dear Priyanka,

Questions(MCQs)  in VIT exams are generally very conceptual but easy.

From my personal experience, I would say, though all the topics will be from NCERT, but it's safe to read some more books as well, specially the biotechnology chapters on your 12 th biology text book.

I wish you good luck!

Can I get seat in vit vellore through only ncert books?

harsh Student Expert 14th May, 2020

Hello dear

It's all depends upon you  but as my experience say you need other stuffs and material for practice because vit exam consist of all the concepts and a speedy test which can be done if you are well prepared and practice all the concepts thoroughly.

As you can pass the exam with NCERT , but if you really want a good rank you should move towards other books after NCERT like RD Sharma  , cengage, arihant , hc verma, DC pandey, rc Mukherjee etc.

Good luck

Hello! I have filled the form and made the payment. But later realised that I have entered the wrong current semester. I am in annual system of examination. Will this have any impact in the final selection? Will I be able to correct this or do I need to register again? Thanks a lot

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Sep, 2019
Dear Anna, to be honest this diesn't affect your Candidature. Having said that, this can be corrected during the correction window. IIM Kozikhode will open its correction window from September 26th to September 30th. You can make correctioms to your Academic profile then. Alternatively, you may raise a Candidate query in the official website or write to them at cathelpdesk@iimcat.ac.in. If you want to wait for the correction window, you may. Between September 26th 29th, you need to login to the official website, and make the necessary chamges.
