how much time does it take to complete NCERTS for upsc preparation? and which chapters in ncert books are relevant for UPSC?

Greetings of the day aspirant !!

I am hoping that you are absolutely fine. See, i would like to say that you have to read about 40-44 books in total, and it would take you about three days to complete one book which contains about 14-16 chapters. Now come to the question that which are relevant to study from ncert so I would like to suggest you that you will study from Ncert that is geography. Geography portion is much enough from ncert.

I am near to complete my syllabus till 1st week of May of before that . But currently , I have to revise + study together . I havent made biology notes . I always prefer to revise NCERT books as every line seems to be important . How to revise in biology while studying simultaneously ?

NCERT textbooks are mean to provide basic information and detail about the various topics that are part of the curriculum. Although the book is good the topics is not discussed in depth and that is not enough to score 70 -80 marks in the Physics section of JEE main as it is considered the toughest part in the examination. The Union Public Service Commission conducts NDA twice in a year i.e NDA 1 & NDA 2. You can prepare for around 4 to 6 hours every day according to your convenience and comfort. Try to make timetable and prepare strategy and follow it accordingly to get good mark.

Preparation Tips for NDA examination:

First make a note of NDA syllabus and get idea of it.

Prepare your own short notes.

Make flow chart of the concepts to remember them easily.

First prepare the topics you feel easy, to boost up your confidence.

After than go for tough subjects prepration.

After completion of the syllabus preparation then solve previous year's papers.

See the type of questions asked in previous years and prepare accordingly.

Then go for sample papers solving.

Then take sample or practice tests.
