can I get hundred plus in NEET by studying NCERT and mtg NCERT on fingertips

Jyotirmoy Banik 29th Feb, 2020

Hi Shivam ,

NCERT is the most important book for NEET UG . Also mtg fingertips is fantastic book with ample amount of mcqs . I can assure you that if you can thoroughly study NCERT and practice mtg fingertips various times you can easily score 450+ in NEET UG . By saying thorough study of NCERT I mean that you have to grasp the basic concepts properly and also you have to revise NCERT in that manner that you can visualise the lines from NCERT in your mind . Also you have to revise the previously solved mcqs . Finally you have to be consistent with your study . All the best .

IS NEET EXPLORING BIOLOGY BY ARIHANT A GOOD EXAM ORIENTED BOOK FOR NEET AND ALSO AIIMS LEVEL?CAN I GET 345-350 MARKS BY STUDYING THIS AND NCERT BIOLOGY ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 8th Apr, 2020
Alok, Arihant alone might not be sufficient enough. You have to try the following books too:

NCERT Biology Class XI and Class XII textbooks
Biology Vol 1 and Vol 2 by Trueman
Objective Biology by Dinesh
Objective Botany by Ansari
Pradeep Guide on Biology
GR Bathla publications for Biology

Now if your goal is 340-350 out of 360, then you cannot afford any negative marking. Do not answer when in doubt because you will lose marks in negative marking. Human Physiology and Genetics have maximum weightage in NEET. It is advisable to practise questions of Genetics from previous year question papers, which will give you a thorough understanding of how the questions are being asked. Topics of Plant and Animal kingdom have a lot of portion to memorize. You can prepare these topics by making a comparative table for the sub-topics and studying it together. Plant physiology is also equally important and easy to score.

is mtg NCERT on fingertips is good for practice of physics for neet 2020 as I am weak in physics please help

Pankhuri Kumari 24th Feb, 2020
Hii Shivam!
Yes! MTG'S NCERT Fingertips for all the three subjects in NEET that is physics, chemistry and biology is a good option to practice for NEET UG. You get your basic concepts cleared through it and also get all the possible questions from each topic. This, I would recommend going for NCERT Fingertips. In addition to that, you can also solve MTG'S NCERT champion to get a better idea of the type of questions appearing in the exam.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

is it possible only to read sample papers for phy as I am not understanding ncert will I fetch above 90 percent in phy. chem I have already learned sample papers ncert and previous years question paper and same for maths will I fetch above 90 in maths and chem too. can I get above 90 overall pcm

rehan18alam Student Expert 22nd Feb, 2020

Dear aspirant,

No single book is enough to get good marks in any AEE exam however a combination of both good books and a schedule preparation is more than enough to get the desired marks. If you are having problem with NCERT textbooks then you can use some other help books for your exam like HC Verma or ABC or Pradeep help book. these books have elaborative definitions of the topics which are shortened in NCERT textbooks. And definitely you will get help from solvingsample papers for physics to get good marks however if you don't have good foundation then you might struggle to get past 90% in your final exam. Try to study the topics you are not comfortable with true help books and practice the topics which you are comfortable through sample papers.

Good combination will get you 90% marks.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

will I get above 95 percent in cbse if I prepare 10 sample papers and ncert of chem and maths and for phy only sample papers is enough?

Kalpana Sharma 22nd Feb, 2020
Hi,
Sample papers are just a glimpse about how the exam could come. You cannot just rely on the sample papers for good marks that too above 95 percent.
NCERT books are considered as a Bible for students. As you are studying chemistry and Maths from Ncert along with the sample papers , You can also go for NCERT of physics rather than just relying on sample papers.
If you don't understand the NCERT physics book, you can go for reference such as Pradeep, S.L. Arora just to clear the concepts.
Along with it , get a read on the previous year examination papers as well.

Hope it helps.
Best Wishes

is Aakash module and NCERT can give me 95 percent in boards in 2021 can I complete rely or do other books like previous year board paper

Shivangini Bhatt 20th Feb, 2020
Yes , you can rely totally on NCERT books. I would say solving previous years questions is important. So that you get an idea of the pattern of examination. The Aakash modules you are talking about can be helpful , but do not completely rely on those. NCERT and previous year questions will be  the best source.
