Hey,
Even though NCERT books are the backbone of JEE exams, you cannot learn everything from it because it is very concise. In order to get better insight into topics, you need some guide books and some high level question papers.
Good luck to you!

Kiran, though NCERT books are recommended for NEET preparation, not all the questions are asked from NCERT alone. So we found out few books that might be helpful:
In Physics, Concepts of Physics by HC Verma should be referred for advance problem solving and conceptual clarity. 32 years NEET Chapterwise and Topic Wise solved papers Physics by Dishal Publications will make you exam ready. Physics needs utmost focus and time because it involves with theoretical concepts and numbers. There should be a systematic approach in preparing for NEET. The important topics are Mechanics, ElectroDynamics, Modern Physics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Simple Harmonic Motion, Waves. Formulae form an integral part of your preparation. Memorise as many formulae as you can and write them down and stick them as post its so that you can always see them. Practise regularly and try various kinds of questions. Solving previous papers and mock tests to test your improvement. Keep a clock and check the time its taking you to solve these questions. And improve the time as you practise more. One day of the week should be set aside for revision so as to keep the mind fresh. Hi Gaurav!!
If you have a smartphone , you can read NCERT books on NCERT app. Download it from google play and enjoy your reading. If you have laptop, you can avail it from the official link of NCERT i.e.
NCERT BOOKs (http://ncert.nic.in/ebooks.html)
You can check it for any books by NCERT from class 1 to 12.
Hope this helps.
Hello dear
NCERT is the best and most crucial books for the 12 th preparation ( if you are only concerning about the boards exams. I would suggest you to go with concepts and theory of each topic . And in some of the topics or specialy in physics you can go with some other book like HC. VERMA here you will get a good quality questions for practice . Maths book has enough questions for practice and chemistry book is also good and contain all the necessary topics and questions but if you want to know more about the theory and other good quality questions for practicing of subject you can solve other books also but first go throt the NCERT
And if you are preparing for some entrance exam than you should go with other books also like Arihant , dc Pandey, op tondon, rs Sharma , rc Mukherjee etc. Because you would require a good practice to crack the exam.
GOOD LUCK
