what are the merits and demerits of aakash and Allen Kota for neet preparation after dropping

rachanapbennur 22nd Oct, 2020

Hello Suhani!

Here is the comparison between Akash and Allen coaching institutes.

Akash Coaching Institute:

This institute has its branches all over India. So it makes it really comfortable for you if your city or any nearby city has one of the Akash centres. The study materials given in Akash are very easy to understand and they almost cover everything given in NCERT textbooks. There are enough test papers. The teaching hours are a little relaxed in Akash and flexibility of their timimgs makes it helpful for the students to adjust themselves to new learning environment.

Teaching faculty in Akash is not really too great. There are well trained trainers as well as just average teachers. Modules do have additional information, but not as much as Allen. Also, the papers given by Akash are not tough which does not help you properly to ace for your exams. Competition is not very high in Akash. And the major drawback is that their fee is too high and definitelt is not worth the quality of education you receive there (atleast in majority of cases). Also, the management in Akash has a number of loopholes as well.

Allen Institute :

There are a total of 25 study centres of Allen according to their website. Allen study materials are one of the best and they cover all topics right from basics to an advanced level as well. This helps you to master the concepts. The teaching faculty in Allen is excellent and are motivating. There is a lot of competition among students in Allen which always will remind you of your goals and put more efforts.

Allen is comparitevly very strict. Their timings are not flexible and it will take more time to adjust with their environment. The number of students per batch is more so, it can make students difficult to cope with the crowd and to get your questions clarified by students. Moreover, you will have stay in hostel away from the comfort of your home.

So these are some of the drawbacks and mrits of both institutes. Now, lastly, it finally depends on you, your dedication and efforts how well you will perform in your exam. These institutes are just a medium. They have to pass through it by yourself.

can i use HC vermas physics book 2019-2020 for preparation of neet 2022......? or book is changing for 2022 neet year like 2018-2019 book and 2019-2020 ....I mean can i buy 2019-2020 book for 2022 neet preparation or wait for any other changes in this book for 2022 neet?

Abhishek Khurana 7th Oct, 2020

Hello Student

I would like to tell you that only few examples and questions change in the new editions of the Book ,but the concepts in the book remains same so you can use edition of 2019-2020 for the year 2022 in NEET.

Personally i would like to tell you that you should read the theory part of the H.C. Verma as it is very interesting as well as very important also .For problem solving you should rather focus on DC Pandey as it has more exposure to the problem solving method.

All the very best for your future and if you want more information i am always available.

Thank You

I joined coaching in 11th class for 2 years for NEET preparation and I scored around 500 marks. So, should I again join the coaching classes or study at home?

Nimish Yadav 5th Oct, 2020

Hi aspirants,

It seems like you are very tense but you know 500 marks in NEET is quite a good marks . If you are from OBC or any reserved category there are chances of you getting a government college . Eventhough at 500 marks you can get a top medical college's . But , if you have made your mind to take a gap then I will suggest you too it depends on your decision of joining classes . If your basics are clear and you think you have learnt everything so that you could self study then no need of joining classes . Just be in contact of your teachers. You must once ask your classes staff about it that you are repeating a year so if they can help you when you have doubt . I think you have got 500 marks now then you are very clear about your basics and all you just need a little more effort and some belief in yourself . But it will be better for you to atleast apply for medical colleges as your marks is superb . If you want you can check our college predictor link it will give you the list of colleges at your marks. https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Second there is difference of study material Allen provides more study related things like tests etc

Aakash has more fees structure as compared to Allen

Allen has the best faculty there is a different faculty members for every subject .

Aakash where as has one teacher for many subjects like organic and inorganic chemistry are taught by same teacher

Aakash study centre try to mug up as fast as possible whereas Allen focuses in every aspect.

Though any institute may be good in various other things it up to you how you like to study .

Do you want to study slowly or learn at a fast pace.

All the best!

Complete pros and cons Of Aakash Delhi - vs - Allen Kota For Neet preparation for Class 12 passed student. Also suggest the best coaching institute for Neet preparation according to YOU.

Nishu Kumari 4th Oct, 2020

Hii there,

Dear candidate, I would suggest that if your town doesn't have any Aakash institute or its not very well reputed area, then go for Allen, Kota, because its the best coaching for NEET, with competitive students from all over country. You get good exposure and, study materials as well as test series. But if your town has a well reputed Aakash institute from where many students have qualified NEET, then it's much better to study in your hometown. You can save your time, your parents will be there to take care, you will get less depressed in your hometown. Aakash institutes also provide very well All India Test series.

Coming to the difference between both,

Aakash is present all over country which has its own benefits, they provide flexible timing for class, if you couldn't attend one, you can see the recorded class. But in Allen you have to attend the class. Allen is more disciplined and organised. Allen is more competitive.

Hope you got it. Good luck!!!

What are the pros and cons of joining Aakash Delhi for neet preparation compared to Allen kota ?

darshita 8th Oct, 2020

hello

Aakash delhi as compared to Allen :

Allen has some of the best faculty as compared to Aakash institute

Second thing to note that is Allen has different teacher for teaching different parts of science. Whereas Aakash may have the best but one whole subject is taught by one teacher.

Thirdly Aakash follows the pattern of mug up studies that is everything is done in fast face and there are mock test after.

Allen has best modules , schedule or study material and they make you study as your pace.

hope it helps !

CAN YOU GIVE ME THE INFORMATION ABOUT NEET PREPARATION

Abhishek Khurana 3rd Oct, 2020

Hello Student

For NEET preperation there are mainly two methods:- self study or go to a coaching, Well seeing the level of  the competetion these days i think you should join a classroom programme ,because in classroom you will see so many students fighting for the same seat as you. And if you decide to do it on by you self you have to maintain a very strict time table and you have  to complete all the work on time.

For preparing you need to solve study material of a coaching institute several times .So, The entire syllabus comes onto your muscle memory. You can also use reference books in all 3 subjects for ex:-

In Physics:-D.C. Pandey,H.C. Verma.

In Chemistry:-Cengage.

In Biology:-Truemann's.

Apart from these you only need To study the NCERT Books again and again.

At the end you only need to give as many Mock Tests as possible. And revise only those topics which you are attempting wrong .

You can also read this article for better preparing:-

the government has issued some guidelines only for the school students from class 9th to class 12th  from 21st september and that too only under a special condition is fulfilled and the parents allow their children to visit the school premises and clear their doubts.

the coaching institutes are not allowed to open .
