I have recently done my 12th and now Im thinking to take one year drop for NEET preparation and if after 1 year if I got fail in neet then I m thinking to do IELTS in 2022 .is that a right decision

REVILLA SAI VAMSHI 7th Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

Taking a drop or not should be decided by yourself solely without asking others. if you are done deciding then get ready to prepare everyday harder then the past day as per I know, people mess up a lot if they have multiple choices to go for perhaps I'm not against keeping backups like IELTS or so on but just realize that you have a complete year now it's highly recommended to finalize what you want to do before actually doing it and IELTS is not a hard exam you can crack it easily so try not to think any alternatives as you decided to give NEET again by taking a year drop just focus on it first later if things go wrong, afcourse it never happens if you are serious about achieving something, you can have alternatives such as IELTS.

You can download NEET previous year question papers from as it helps alot in long run:

I scored 94.8% in class 12th and 95% in 10th , dropped two years for neet preparation. Now Im not so confident of getting a medical seat. Will it affect my placement if I opt Btech(cs) at ITER? I dont want to drop another year.

Supriya Omi 12th Sep, 2021
Hello there!
Undoubtedly when you take drop your confidence goes down. So brace yourself up and prepare well. For getting your confidence back, talk to your teachers and mentors.
You can also take help of your friends and discuss the issues.
For whichever exam you are preparing, perform well and hope for the best.
If you do good, you will definitely get a seat in your desired college.
Good Luck!

neet preparation 30 days study tip and proper study timetable?

Suchana Datta 2nd Aug, 2021

Hi,

11 hours everyday. If you think, 11 hours is too much, then there is no point in discussing about the 30 day study plan for NEET as it is impossible to review and revise in less than 11 hours per day.

Each subject is divided into 24 topics and study one topic from each subject everyday

Spend atleast 3 hours for each subject. For three subjects, it would be 9 hours.

Spend 1 hour out of the 3 hours to take the topic wise test. Before you read anything from NCERT book or watch revision video for that topic, you should take the topic wise test. This will help you understand the type of questions you can anticipate in the NEET exam. If you do not know the answer, use the hint provided. If you still could not answer, the explanation would tell you the correct answer.

After taking topic wise practice test, you would know what to read and how to read the NCERT book and what kind of videos you should watch for that topic to improve your learning on that topic. Spend 1.5 hours for this and retake the topicwise test again. While learning make sure that you prepare handwritten notes for that topic for revising them later. Handwritten notes are 10 times effective than marking important points in the NCERT text book itself.

Irrespective of whether you have completed the learning for that topic or not after 3 hours, you should move on to the next topic of another subject. Don’t worry that you are going to miss questions from these topic, you can use the buffer time during the last 7 days to cover these topics based on theweightage given for that topic in NEET examination.

Spend atleast one hour before going to sleep to summarise what you have learned that day by looking at the notes prepared during that day. Come up with 3 page summary will be used for revision just before going for the NEET examination

Spent one hour everyday early morning to revise the summary sheet and and the revision notes prepared the previous day. The study plan for NEET should accommodate time for both summarization and revision activity

Use the last 6 days for solving previous year NEET questions and to take Mock/Model tests. These tests are available in NEETLab App. Take 1 model test everyday and one mock test everyday. After taking this test, theresults would reveal your weaker topics. Spend 2 hours to study/revise your weaker topics after taking the test.

Spend atleast 3 hours everyday for your entertainment/relaxation. Watch TV/movie in the afternoon or sleep for atleast one hour during the late afternoon. A quick sleep between 3PM to 4PM would freshen you up for the evening study.

hc verma vs dc pandey which is the best book for neet preparation 2022

Swarnendu Bhattacharya 15th Jul, 2021

Both the goods are good and are widely used for the preparation of competitive exams( jee, neet, etc). Hc verma is great for building the concept and dc pandey is more problem solving type. I strongly recommend you must 1st clear your concepts thorough hc verma and then solve dc pandey for more speed, accuracy, and efficiency since dc pandey has great problem solving techniques.

Go through NCERT text book on a daily basis and you can also try out Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker.

For NEET time bound practice is a must

Hope this helps

Best of luck

if I have failed in bams and doing just neet preparation to get mbbs then the bams failure can affect on mbbs admission?

Karam Vir 12th Jul, 2021

Hey,

No problem, even if you failed in BAMS. It will certainly not become a bar in your NEET preparation. You just need to keep focus this time an stay stress free. Make yourself believe that you can do this. Your BAMS failure will not pave a hurdle in your MBBS admission. The eligibility criteria for NEET states that candidates need to be passed in PCB with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. As long as you meet this eligibility criteria, nothing can cause a obstruction for admission into the MBBS program.

i am dropper for neet this is my second drop i know that this year I wont be able to get a govt collage i am frustrated now I want to leave neet preparation from now onwards everybody says no quitting for a goal in my preparation i found my self incompatible for mbbs i just wantto do bsc guide m

Abhishek Roy 1st Jul, 2021

Whether you drop for a third time in NEET or not thats totally upto you. Like I myself have seen people cracking it in the Third Try and securing Colleges like KGMU. Like this year I suggest you, you must attempt NEET if youve prepared for it. Assuming youre from General Category and secure anywhere above 350-400 in NEET this Year, I believe another try might just be worthy. However you should just risk your year, you may Join B.Sc. in Chemistry or maybe some other relevant discipline this year and parallely prepare for Another Attempt in NEET.

Imcase you continue with Chemistry next year, thats fine too as you have a lot many career scope amd opportunities to explore in future.
