Hi there, congratulations for passing both the tests with flying colours. Let me tell you both the institutions are good in their own right.

B Tech IT programme produces graduates with broad understanding of Information Technology through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence which caters to the requirements of the industry. It primarily deals using, maintaining and improving computer systems with strong focus on courses related to technologies to solve business processes.

To enable the students to keep pace with changing technological advances, the university has industrial tie-ups with various industries. Studying these courses as a part of the curriculum would provide a WILD CARD entry to industry.

A set of 4 to 6 elective courses in engineering to enhance competency in the technical and/or emerging domain. (e.g for electronic and electrical- students taking courses in automobile/ robotics/ cybersecurity to build competency in this area.)

Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs, etc. are an integral part of the curriculum.

The highest salary offered to LPU students was 40 lpa and 5.7 lpa was the average salary.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 23rd Jul, 2021

Hello,

To qualify for admission a candidate must score sectional cut off marks and overall cut off marks as well. For admission to NISER Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score is calculated for all 4 sections separately so it is mandatory to attempt questions from all the sections. For admission in to CEBS Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score for any 3 subjects so you can skip attempting question from Biology section.
